  1. Its sort of anti-climatic, going from expecting 100m OD and now we're at 85m. A number any movie would kill for, especially for an opening day.
  2. BKB, usually by this time, the numbers are more accurate. 85m means Dh2 keeps the OD record for now.
  3. Plus DH2's midnight is crazy by itself. I dunno if anything will top that for awhile. Maybe Star Wars.
  4. I think he was talking about DH2's OD gross counting 24 hours, while AOU counts the thursday night previews and possibly till Saturday 3AM.
  5. It seems a tad better, though many of my criticisms still stand. I will say the action is definitely way worse in 3D then my 2D showing, but I had no choice.
  6. The crowd reaction to Star Wars and BvS trailers was awesome to see at my showing tonight.
  7. Around 100m? I guess DH2 loses the record for sure. 220 here we come?
  8. It won't, its May, and I'm expecting it to have a nice weekend with families in play.
  9. Regardless of what happens. This is going to be an amazing thread.
  10. I'm also annoyed with Stark creating Ultron, but he's forgiven way too quickly and its glossed over. In the first Iron Man he's horrified that he created those weapons that are killing civilians and puts a stop to it. In this, he's like "oh well". Zero repercussions.
  11. Another reason why Furious 7 has wide spread appeal since is its actually diverse, and it doesn't seem forced. Avengers so far are all usually white characters. Time actually had an article about it being the main contributing factor to Furious 7 being a massive hit. http://time.com/3772166/furious-7-box-office-diversity/
  12. I'd love to participate in this! Now that I actually will have time during the spring and summer.
  13. I wondering what the critics watched after seeing this. Thought it was pretty good. Has some issues and kidna dragged, but nowhere as awful as reported, B+
  14. I'm frankly astonished Interstellar didn't win best score. Budapest's OST is good, but Zimmer outdid himself. Nice job Birdman.
  15. Didn't like it. Beautifully shot. Fantastic acting by everyone. I felt like that with that ending the writers didn't know how to end it, A human falling in love with a computer is something I've read in many sci fi stories, and that's how to choose to end it? B-
  16. There's something amusing about seeing that low OW listed among other biggest films among 2014.
