I do remember that, and I said the math checked outobviously I'm a genius.LOL, here is what I posted in the weekend estimates thread on Friday at 2:49pm. Kind of like a math test that you get the right answer on, but have no clue how you did the calculations

They knew / figured it wouldn't have the best legs. Lots of competition in may alone. They wanted as big an OW as possible and just hope that the OW carries it to a profitable state.Major front-loading + tepid WOM = Godzilla. That was one helluva marketing campaign, tho.

How so, same kids, women and alot of disney fans will want to go check out Malificent.
That means the film if well attended would affect Xmen and Godzillas audience in the later legs. If Malificent
hits 65-70+, its going to put the hurt on our Xmen bigtime though. Still as long as Xmen is well received, this film
can keep right on trucking as long as it doesnt lose too many theaters. When does TRF4 debut Skybreaker?
EoT is next week and TF4 is 27th (4 weeks)

So these numbers mean Maleficent is currently at 2.64m and will at least double on the West cost to take it to 5.28m. Matinees are about 1/4 of the total day, so that brings the Friday number to 21.12m. Saturday will be 28.5m with a bump of 35% and Sunday comes in at 20m with a 30% decrease. So a final weekend number of 69.62m.
Does that sound about right?
