While Shawn is messing with the BoxOffTheory website I've put the Derby in a new location for now:

Shawn is going to be making changes to the hosting of the BoxOfficeTheory.
Don't know if it will effect the Derby... I'm working on backup plans in case it does.
I'd put in this weeks predictions early and often.....

Database
- Movie Data - Added %Drop and calculated it for all historical movies
- Movie Data - Fixed missing Avg Predictions that was missing on some movies
Weekly Scores Page
- Added %Drop to Weekly Movie Data Tab
- Fixed Diff Headers on Weekly User Tab
Prediction Page
- Fixed bug where no movies showed.
- Added past weeks detail for each Movie
Known Issues
- Standings grid includes the current game so calculations is wrong
Next Enhancements
- Tinker with the Estimates page to allow 'official' estimates to be added
- Display current leaderboard that on homepage updates as official estimates are entered
- During prediction phase show logged in user # of movies predicted on header
- Allow predictions based on drop %

Weekly Scores
- Added 'Difference From Top' on both the Weekly values and the individual movies values
Predictions
- Initial Prediction screen added. (will show when new game opens) - % drop not supported yet. This will update the real Derby numbers so double check on the main website.
Known Issues
- Weeky Scores grid headings not all showing
- Standings grid includes the current game so calculations is wrong

So... during the period after predictions close to actuals being entered I have the ability for users to enter estimates and see the results. They can save their own estimates and see any other users saved estimates.
While I'll probably keep that I'm guessing players would prefer to have the ability to put in official estimates over the weekend and see the results like you do the spreadsheet.
So my questions are:
- Should any player that played that week be able to enter them?
- Should there be just one set of estimates that gets updated over the weekend or a set for each day?
- Any value for tracking final official estimates to actuals?
- Any reason to keep historical estimates?

Seems to be working for me now.
If you still get the error go to:

I saw that last night. I was hoping it would fix itself overnight.
It happens depending on how you go to the website.
If go from the menu boxofficetheory.com then it doesn't happen.
Right now I can't get it to happen at all.

I know you guys keep a spreadsheet where you can track estimates between prediction close and actuals.
On the new site I added an 'estimates' page that allows people to enter estimates and see the results.
Open to suggestions on how to improve that functionality.

1st look at the new site. This is still very much in the alpha stage.
You'll only be able to look at data for right now... you'll have to use the normal site to enter predictions.

I'm rewriting the Derby website.
Right now it's mostly a new technology update with better flow, better historical game data and better mobile support.
But I'd like to hear every ones ideas on ways to make the Derby better.
That includes not only the way the website works for entering/displaying data but also the game itself.
