    Well even funny games, the one where the bad guys have a remote control and can bend time like the infinity time stone, is considered high art. Even ...funnier is the u.s version where Tim Roth looks like he could slaughter the two yahoos any time he wanted .....

    The killing of a secret deer is a lanthimos film, my countryman, don’t need to know more to know that it is an absolutely horrible film.

    I had the feeling that it would be but I didn’t want to post it. I mean there’s people that consider ICAN great so whatever. Many modern horror films are just going for a gimmick without a good story to tell.

    I never called FK a flop, please find a post of mine where I call it a flop. All I said is that I don’t believe the miraculous 170 million production budget. I even said that even with a bigger production budget universal will make a great profit . Also pointed out that it’s S.K od was a result of a big holiday there. Where grace is correct is that everything is a matter of perspective and not all movies are judged by the same criteria.

    No, but between 200-250 million production budget seems more realistic to me than the “its a miracle” reported budget for a movie filled with cgi effects and a hot leading star. Add to that a sizable marketing budget , the movie had a stronger marketing campaign in my country than even Deadpool 2 (while the Disney films ,solo had virtually no marketing and even IW marketing wasn’t as impressive). Of course it will make a very nice profit either way but the reported budget seems silly beyond belief and I don’t believe in “miracles”.

    Nevermind him, his whole “review” is “the script is awful, the story is dumb, the actors mediocre but hey Dinos” . The movie is getting torn apart everywhere on the internet and that will definately not help it in the U.S , maybe universal should have had a worldwide opening.

    The movie bombed , it doesn’t matter if it had a 10x multiplier. It did 229 million worldwide on an 144 production budget, one of the biggest bombs ever. Audiences didn’t like it and spoke with their wallets.

    At the end of the day the general audience will decide. Wonder Woman was a hit, people saw it as a good movie, ghostbusters 2016 was a flop, people saw it as a bad movie. The internet warriors don’t really have that much power.

    IW basically 1.1 million , +2.4% from Wednesday , -21.9% drop from last week. Only movie in the top10 to rise from Wednesday.

    Funny but I remember reading exactly the same things when people were analyzing why infinity war wouldnt blow up. “The avengers was a bo phenomenon, can’t be replicated, MCU peaked , look at AOU/CW, e.t.ce.t.c” I can’t , for the life of me, understand why people , after watching IW, wouldnt return to watch the end of the thanos saga. That’s like saying ROTK had no chance of being the biggest LOTR film.

    The first one was quite good, too bad about the latest impressions. How does it compare to Jurassic park 2 , the low point of the franchise thus far ?

    Just watched the trailer, after how many days it has been released that’s how much I didn’t care for it, and damn that is a great trailer. Loving the tone of this .....
