@DAJK thank you, I appreciate your opinion. I never said that this is Lord of the Rings but I also think that it's not a cheap TV show...I did enjoy it more than SWATH and thought it's a campy fantasy fun.

Anyways, I'm also entitled to my opinion, and the movie has actually grown on me in the past 48 hours. Not a great movie, but was quite enjoyable. The final 30 minutes were what saved it for me.
Of course they're entitled but all I read here is pure hate and not argumentative criticism.

Seriously, what's with people on this board? In every other place I checked there are different comments about this movie, someone liked it, someone hated it but when I come here it's so much negativity and hate after hate after hate, geeez! What do you people do in life, are you in movie industry or you just eat your junkfood and hate everything that's on silverscreen?
Cheap costumes? Every critic review I read they praise the costumes even if everything else is bad the costumes are being PRAISED!
Cheap CGI? I would like some expert to explain what exactly is being cheap and how would they did magical powers in movie, cmon let's read some constructive criticism.
Charlize is 15minutes in it oh nooo what a catastrophe!!! And when I said that villains don't usually get that much screentime everyone ignored.

I just finished watching a showing of The Huntsman Winter's War in an AMC theater a little while ago. I enjoyed every part of it and It's a big improvement over the first movie. It's not a slow paced movie that makes your mind wonder with scenes that would be worth being deleted. Which the first movie had that problem whereas this movie doesn't have that problem. The cast were perfect fits for the roles they played in the movie, especially the newest editions to the cast such as Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain. I was impressed with the CGI more then I thought I would be considering that, the CGI looked somewhat unfinished in the earliest trailers released for this movie and better in the most recent trailers.

The first one is so much better. It has grand scale battles, stunning special effects and Charlize in the whole movie.
She's not in the whole SWATH...Remembered that when it came out people was also disappointed she wasn't more in the movie.

Costumes are cheap to you? I think that costumes and visual look were the best think about it, besides Theron and Blunt...The critics agree that it's beautiful visually and CGI effects are done well, what are you even talking about?!?

Weisz is great, I agree...Theron is wasted in dullness of the first one, but in this is very effective and looks she's having a lot of fun.

Maleficent is much better looking, has a strong lead performance (regardless of the awful writing for her character) and again has a better score.
What Huntsman has over those movies is that it gets so bad that it can be quite entertaining.
I detest hamming of HBC.

Disagree. What do you find better in terrible Alice CGI mess? Story perhaps? And I really hate Maleficent with a passion, ruined my childhood and one of my favourite animated movies...
The Huntsman, on the other hand, is one campy & fun fantasy movie, nothing more-nothing less...And it's not trying to be something more like SWATH.
