It will make history as the first film to go over 500M be a box office flop (according to some) LOL.
Just like how Catching Fire will be the first 180M OW film to be considered a 'flop'
Again, I don't think making a theme park for this will be weird at all if it's done similar to HP. It would really be cool if it were set up ideally like Panem with all of the districts and how each of them look.
I overall really liked this movie! I usually am a huge fan of Burton movies, and this one didn't dissapoint. Loved the story, the actors did great (except for the young guy who recently played the lead in mortal instruments. I found his story blah). The singing didn't bother me like I thought it would. Overall, I'd give it a B+, 7.5/10
Ender's drop isn't that surprising. We knew this was coming for it. It just doesn't have any weeks for it to have good legs. Too much competition. Next week won't be too bad, but still should drop at least by 30%, if not more I think. CF will destroy it.
My point is that it seems marvel fanboys predict the THG series to drop all the time because they make the argument "the first acted like a sequel and thus everything else will fall and not reach it". But then they predict their sequels to do better than the first film that acted like a sequel. I don't get why marvel fanboys think their films will always increase vs. THG where it couldn't possibly increase.
Not every country, but in most yes. Brazil will be huge, the UK and France will be huge. The only real question marks are Japan (which I don't see it being big) and if China can increase from the first in a big way.
True, but that actually gives the sequels more room to drop from their originals. It really wouldn't surprise me if TA2 dropped from the first.
I can't see IM4 doing more than 175M.
The same could be said of Marvel fanboys thinking their movies are 'most' anticipated.
I guess we then need to define what we're really measuring if we're saying 'anticipation'. Are you guys saying whatever makes the most is deemed 'more anticipated'?
CF and MJ2 might surprise you. MJ1 maybe not. But the former two will most def be anticipated by most. We'll need to see what CF does to get a better grasp.
That's not a bad number for Thor2. I just think people are dissapointed that it wasn't as high as they thought. I figured it would of hit at least in the 90's too.
