  1. As a hardcore Alien fan, this is when the series started getting dumb. They should have just kept with two and been done with it. The story in this one is a bit far-fetched for me (not as bad as Alien 4). Just all seemed like a cheap way to extend the series in my opinion, not to mention make it more of a gore fest rather than a survival/thriller like the other two were. The only great moment in the film for me was Ripley's speech to them about how the company could honestly give two shits about them. There other good speeches/moments, but overall didn't make up for the overall poor story. I give it a 6/10.
  2. Still one of my favorite Disney movies, in the top 3. A+++
  3. It was okay for me. Nowhere near the original but not bad either like some of the other ones. Overall give it a 7.0/10.
  4. None of those movies mentioned above are ones that I'm particularly fond of, or haven't seen. So, I can't say why they flopped. A similar movie that flopped was The Island by Bay (a movie of his that was good) that opened in 2005. It's a really great movie for those that are into sci-fi. Yet, it flopped at the box office (not to the point of losing money, but it barely made anything) despite it being a good movie. With that movie in particular, looking back at the trailers, they weren't good at all in telling people what the movie was about. They unrememorable trailers. Perhaps the same problem happened with some of these movies, the trailers/marketing was poor.
  5. All of the Twilight movies (or perhaps they were meant to be comedies. Not sure)
  6. That's what I thought, lol. And obviously that it came from suppose "President Snow".
  7. Yeah.....I have no restraint. I've seen everything....and now I'm paying the consequences.

  9. Entei in general was one of my favorite pokemon. This movie was also really good. Up there with the other two.
  10. This one great too. Loved all the birds. Overall enjoyed it.
  11. Omg me too!!! I always have random thoughts about that. That whole scene is sad.... This movie was one of the biggest moments of my childhood. Pokemon was it back then. Had all the games, cards, watched every episode, you name it.
  12. I am serious. If MoS2 (or Batman vs Superman, whatever it's being called) opens to the SAME OW as MoS did, that would be a huge dissapointment, big blow to DC. Having those two should have the floor at 160, the ceiling being as high as 185M (this would be huge huge huge amazing trailers). Ok marketing would be like 140M-160M. MoS2 only hitting what MoS (with only superman by himself) would be like Star Trek 2 all over again. Sure, it would still make a lot of money, but you couldn't deny that it was a disspointment in terms of box office numbers.
  13. This will definitely open big. The marketing on this would have to be catastrophically bad in order for it to be as low as 120M. Even though MoS was recieved as meh, there are still going to be most that liked it, and with two years until MoS2 comes out more people will have seen it. Then you have the excitement (positive or negative) over Batman being played by Affleck, not to mention a lot of people loved TDK films and shows that people love the Bat. True, it's not the same actor and so forth, but people will still line up OW too see how this thing plays out, whether it sucks or not. I predict this hitting 160M OW. Now. The real problem or questions lies in total DOM. Even if the movie is good, people could still not be happy with Affleck and spread bad WOM. Or, you could have the usual fanboy reaction (they loath whoever is playing their icon fictional character for years while the movie is made, only to then love the actor after seeing the movie and claiming it was the best choice along and they 'knew' it). Worst case scenario, this makes 160M OW and a total of (because of bad WOM) 350M DOM. Best case scenario, this opens to 160M OW and with great WOM finishes with a total of 480M.
  14. Well, who really wants to take a chance being next to TA2 I sure wouldn't. Avengers owns May.
  15. I think right now, I'll say around 30M just to be on the safe side. I'd love to see it break 40M though.
