I'm thinking this might set off a Black Adam based trilogy with all those characters involved. If BA becomes successful I don't think WB/DC and especially The Rock will want to star in a one off as a villain in a Shazam sequel given the kind of power The Rock holds as an actor.

If Legion of Doom is still in the plans, Black Adam could be in a future Justice League film.

  2. If production stars in November then a March/April 2021 release date is possible. They need to separate The Batman and The Suicide Squad though. Those two are too close but I suspect is due to the fact that WB doesn't want Batman to compete against Jurassic World on it's 2nd weekend.

Why 4 years though? maybe they have more in the pipeline then they are letting on between then. thought for sure Dec 2021 would be the release date.  Unless Wan is really busy and they really want him direct the next one (which he should).

    So it'a looking like

    April 2019 Shazam!

    October 2019 Joker

    February 2020 Birds of Prey

    June 2020 Wonder Woman 1984

    June 2021 Batman

    August 2021 The Suicide Squad

    ...

    December 2022 Aquaman 2

Am I missing some films, I know there are alot in talks.

I hope The Flash is in there somewhere. has there been any movement on Batgirl or Supergirl? a new Superman film would be great. but I don't know.

I think Flash or New Gods will be early 2021. They are just holding on to the announcement. Probably New Gods for 2022. If they start shooting Flash/New Gods in January 2020 a March/April 2021 release is possible.

    The latter

Didn't they already say they got 0 plans for Superman? Isn't that the reason a Supergirl movie is being developed?

Had Nolan and Goyer not come knocking we'd probably still be waiting on a follow up to Superman Returns

They offered Gunn Superman so clearly they still have the character in mind.

Didn’t someone recently report that Henry was waiting for a director approval and the MIF happened and suddenly he was in demand?I mean being part of these franchises means that you always have to answer the call and sacrifice other roles you could do instead. It’s not abnormal to ask for more money. Not to mention,I don’t think that there is such a thing as a BO draw these days.Unless you are Leonardo DiCaprio.

He is so in demand that he got a Netflix series lol. Clearly there's something holding him back. You would think Cavill would have a ton of roles under his belt by now.

What you’re saying makes sense but they did a huge reshoot on JL to change Superman to what seemed like what they wanted him to be for future movies(cause they were obviously trying to move away from Snyder’s vision).

What we've seen from Snyder's Superman in Justice League so far hasn't been terrible. The ring scene at the farm, suiting up in the scout ship and meeting Alfred were all good scenes. From what I've seen Snyder's Supermam was supposed to end hopeful after Justice League.

I wonder how things got so screwed between Henry and WB? Was it really his side making huge demands(I believe this was more likely)Or did WB just not want to make Superman movies for the next little while.

My guess is he wanted more money and creative control. Worst case scenario would be him wanting Snyder back as a director. His manager is The Rock's manager and she is probably hard to deal with as well. Henry Cavill is a solid actor but he needs to face the facts. He isn't a box office draw, he doesn't deserve A list money and his bigger role outside of Superman was MI:Fallout and his character is dead already. If that Netflix series flops, he's going to lose even more leverage.
