Why is that belittling myself ? Am I not allowed to have a favourite actor? All I am saying is that RP led me to Twilight, from there I read the books and enjoyed them. It's exactly the same as saying I'll watch most films starring DiCaprio or Hanks because I know I'll enjoy them.You just belittled yourself by admitting that Pattison is the sole reason why you watch this, not content or anything of substance.

Why can't people just accept that there is a movie that appeals primarily to women, without denigrating us and trying desperately to make us see the error of our ways. I don't know if I would have ever watched Twilight if Robert Pattinson hadn't starred but I do know that I would never have belittled those who did. I think some members here,and critics, are only teasing and rolling their eyes at us but some are being downright nasty and i wonder if that's how they treat women in general.

That isn't an opinion that many people hold, and I hope you're not using it as evidence that it'll do 300.
Me not buying the dvd and only seeing a movie once will obviously not impact on a movies success.I should have said that IMO BD is better than Eclipse but I still think it's a shame if it doesn't make more than New Moon.
Just who are these many people ? I only ask because, without fail, everybody I speak to in RL and online (apart from here, but that's only to be expected) are happy with BD.

I enjoyed Eclipse more than BD1 personally. I'm not huge into the romance aspect of Edward and Bella though so that could be why. It will be interesting to see what BD2 does though because it will be closer to Eclipse I think. I can see them adding a bunch of action to get the interest of non fans.
I think I'm just a hopeless romantic, my poor boyfriend stresses too much about birthdays and anniversaries because I set the bar too high.

It all depends what you're looking for, they tried to entice male fans into Eclipse with the promise of more action and lost the heart of the movie. Breaking Dawn finally returns to the foundation of the saga...Edward and Bella....and its certainly not 'better'. Its a horrible movie on every level in a way even Eclipse didnt manage.

You're right it isn't Eclipse, it's much better than Eclipse, and it will be a shame if it doesn't make more money than the clusterfuck that was New Moon. I only watched that once and still won't buy the DVD.But this isn't Eclipse, it isn't managing to keep up with NM, 280m is the goal, 300m is dead.

You really should have more faith in the Twilight fans, I've been to see it again today and loved it even more. Nearly everybody in the queue was seeing it for the first time and the anticipation was palpable. I think it's the best one yet.139M... thats it? Wow, I would've thought it would've gotten bigger. Hmm... hopes for 300M are now very, very slim, knowing this franchises frontloadedness.
