  1. I haven't seen it yet but I've kind of assumed that their new show Vikings is showing actual history.
  2. Guys: The new Community showrunners have stated that you should treat this like if it had just started: they're figuring out the right balance of stuff and how to write for the characters. Give it at least a few more episodes before ditching it.
  3. Already a thread: http://forums.boxoffice.com/index.php?/topic/1060-top-5-favourite-tv-shows-of-all-time/ I can merge them or lock this one if you want but I see no reason to have more than two.
  4. They'll probably air the rest in the summer or just put them all online to recoup some of their investment.
  5. As long as it's not the Cars franchise, I don't mind sequels.

  10. They'll still have the second semester of senior year.
  11. Once Upon a Time, Grimm, The Vampire Diaries, and Arrow.
  12. Not necessarily. I like a lot of shows that aren't necessarily realistic.
  13. It's not whether they're rich or not but that money is never really a problem for them. Ever. I don't remember a single plot where money was a major issue. This really isn't a problem for me since Modern Family has never actually tried to capture reality in a sense but merely the new family dynamics that have come up within the last few decades. You won't see them dealing with money issues like in the Middle because the show isn't interested in doing that. That's perfectly fine because Modern Family isn't actually trying to present reality. And yes, making $250,000 puts you in the Upper Middle Class. Consider that the AVERAGE American family makes $40,000 (around the family of the Middle I believe). Oh, and this has nothing to do with Obama. This issues would still be present if McCain or Romney had won.
  14. It technically doesn't. The Middle is a much more accurate reflection of the average American family life.
  15. It's the law in the United States that you have to put the expiration date on coupons/vouchers. It is up to the business when the expiration date is but they have to abide by it. If there is no expiration date, then I guess it's valid for life.
  16. Eh, I wouldn't worry. Ken Jeong is like the least essential member of the cast. Frankly, after the third season, I think they should have let him out of his contract since I'm not sure what they're going to do to him. Granted, I haven't seen this week's episode (soon I will) so I could be wrong but he hasn't really played a big role this season. Also, there's been cases of actors joining pilots only to have their shows renewed. Community might very well come back because NBC remains in dire straits.

  18. It'll still be better than what texting and Facebook are going to teach them.
  19. You have to add in time for publicity, interviews, and stuff. But, yeah, being a sitcom actor must rock.
  20. Largely cause it's hard to get excited over loglines? It's usually until trailers/posters start doing their work that you see the appeal of a show but merely hearing what it's going to be about? You could hear of a comedy and think "that's stupid" but then see the trailer and think "this is hilarious!" Likewise, you could hear about an idea for a drama and be like "ehh...pass" and then look at the trailer and be like "HOLY SMOKES. AWESOME!" For instance: Horizon sounds stupid but if executed right, it could be a top-notch drama.
  21. Once the show proves it's capable of presenting great standalone episodes and exciting subplots then I'll agree with you. This episode was largely dull until Woodbury attacked the prison.
  22. I never said it was fluff. I'm sure it was integral to understanding the plot later on but it doesn't....make it a good story.
