I'll take it
If I can't take that bet I'll bet two people 100 points Guardians of the Galaxy finishes in the top 10 domestic Comic Book movies of all time.
I really liked him in his role, most of the complaints about his performance were really unprecedented because that's that particular character's personality.
Why is Madagascar higher than Mary and Max and Persepolis.I mean I understand they aren't highly seen movies but that's putting mediocre Dreamworks fare over pieces of art.I have never heard of Team police though, looks interesting
It has a very staggered WW release, not very comparable ATM. I think guardians 2 will be a better gauge when they aren't releasing the movie in China in September.
It'll beat all of the X-Men films though, all of the amazing Spidey films, and possibly all the superman movies except the first adjusted (it might lose to 2 depending on legs, but it'll end up beating MoS for sure)And Spidey, Supes, and X-men had the luxury of being some of the first of their brand when guardians is in the middle of a flood of comic book movies.
No, with Labor Day id say 170m is the floor for Turtles. Both it and Guardians will have sub 10% drops for the weekend next week and that will really give them pushes for the 200m and 300m milestones.
Not even compared to 2013, compared to summers in general.I mean at least we have a guaranteed 250m hit with Guardians now, possibly 300m. It won't be so embarrassing as to be the only summer since 1975 to have no movie adjust over 250m
This week is pretty bad, next weekend is labor day so there should be some nice holds at least. And then everyone can go take a 2 week vacation because no weekend number will be able to even get above Guardians preview numbers.
