  1. I should've mentioned that all the screens were MI7 to be begin with 😅
  2. Some cinemas around me also returned some screens to Insidious 5 from MI7 today 🤔

  6. Always interesting to see how Filipino audiences can differ in their preferences. Sad, was looking forward to seeing how much exactly ATSV improved from the first.
  7. When you're a studio that's had a number of misfires like Legendary, even a franchise that turns in even a decent profit can be your "golden goose." G14, K:SI, and even GVK made some money (though for GvK, seems like WB bought out Legendary's budget contributions and earned most, if not all, of the box office run profit). KOTM lost money, but I think GXK will continue the trend from GVK. Edit: looks like some of us decided to respond at the same time with similar points 🤣
  8. One theater near me (with only 1 screen) opted to keep TLM in its 2nd week instead of showing ATSV, and another mall here is still showing TLM with Transformers but dropped ATSV already. I guess Filipinos really love Disney musicals. 🤣
  9. I think they should've. Aside from Primal & Airazor, the other Maximals are glorified cameos and could've been cut out from the film with no consequence at all. I enjoyed the film well enough but this was something that could've been improved on.

  11. What a small drop, very rare to see that here sa PH!
  12. Below Ant-Man? Didnt expect that. But it did seem like Ant-Man was getting more promoted here..
  13. Some additional context from Deadline: https://deadline.com/2023/04/super-mario-bros-movie-first-slam-dunk-john-wick-china-global-international-box-office-1235334332/#:~:text=In the Philippines%2C Mario %26 Co,Saturday for an April animation. I think the April record was an easy one to break, I can't think of any big animated hits from April in recent years.
  14. The ape on the throne doesn't look like Kong plus his eyes are glowing blue like Godzilla's...an evil member of Kong's species with Godzilla-esque powers???
  15. Deadline Black Adam B.O. article A bit smaller than I expected, though I think the weak peso has something to do with that.
  16. I find it disappointing that this is the Filipino film the moviegoing public chose to show up for.
  17. It seems like Millie Bobby Brown, Alan Skarsgard, Kyle Chandler, and Julian Dennison aren't returning? Cinematographer Ben Seresin and composer Junkie XL are back too.
  18. Plus, the recent typhoon delayed the reopening of most cinemas in places like Cebu. Only 2 cinemas are open but they're fully booked for several days.
