i was hoping for a better hold considering gvk wasn't a fri opener and burnt off demand on wed-thu thus denting the ow. but it's a sequel in a franchise that hasn't been leggy so understandable.

Till Thurs - $164M
2nd Friday - $17M
2nd Saturday - $26M
Total - $207M
18 on sun will give it 225 total after 61 2nd weekend. 2x more the 2nd weekend will give it close to 350 os. very sweet under the circumstances. if it further over-performs os then keeps 500 ww alive no unless dom has bad legs?

i feel 90-100 dom is feasible for gvk with low-40s 5-day ow.
something like
16.3 wed-thu +26 fss (for over 42 5-day) + 26*2x = ~94 dom
(for 26 fss thinking 9 + 10 + 7)

Nah, it's both. It's gonna take a non-linear approach and look at both Mufasa's backstory and be continuation of the previous film.

Mulan: 12m
Love Birds: 10.1m
Peter Rabbit 2: 7.2mSo you do have your own sources...interesting. We thought you just skimmed numbers off BOT.
Do you think NM and NTTD will get to 150 dom using your abnormally conservative calculations?

This is OS but just gonna leave it here...
QuoteSony was the only major studio to release international numbers, so I guess Bloodshot wins the weekend chart by default. That said, it also won last weekend, so it probably was the actual winner this weekend. According to Sony’s numbers, it earned $1.41 million on 3,795 screens in 60 markets for a two-week total of $18.41 million. This includes a $31,842 debut on 65 screens in Nigeria. Its largest market was Russia, where it was down 78% to $549,000 on 1,665 screens over the weekend for a two-week total of $3.55 million. It is not surprising that Russia had one of the best holds for the film, as the country was slow to realize the extent of Covid-19. Singapore also held on well down 53% to $119,000 on 65 screens over the weekend for a two week total of $454,000.
...mind boggling how much the market has tanked.
