  1. It will be close to 250k by Sunday. I'd say definitely possible.

Excellent! I heard that it's getting 100 more screens due to its strong performance which is unheard of for a limited release arthouse film.

Really putting some of the big budgeted movies to shame :D

  2. The avengers: Age of Ultron starts filming in Korea on march 30th. Filming will take place over various famous landmarks in Seoul and will last for up to two weeks. It's worth noting that filming has never been done on this kind scale before in seoul. Places like Mapo bridge will be closed for up to 10 hours, something that has never happened since the bridge was opened in July 1900. Other filming locations include Kangnam, Sangam, floating island and the like.

Traffic will be a nightmare but I for one think this is a good thing :)

  3. So are Marvel movies more like walk up movies in SK as in NA?

I guess for some of them. I don't think it's really a pattern or anything though. People who go to the cinemas without a specific movie in mind will probably choose marvel blockbuster movies most of the time. I'm guessing that's the case in NA too?

  4. Wow, great OD. Better than I expected. I thought it would land around 110k-120k admits.

Same here, since pre-sales were only 2/3 of Noah's before release and the pre-release ratings were similar I'd imagined it would open lower than what it did. No complaints though :D

  5. I don't know,but ratings are extremely high!

For animations I'd agree that ratings are higher than they should be but otherwise there are a lot of movies that don't have that high a rating.

Noah is rated at 6.32 and 300:RoaE is 7.29 for example.

Naver ratings just show the response of the movie audience which is pretty helpful in my opinion

  6. I'd rank CA:TWS at around 6th in my favorite marvel movie list after SM2,SM1,TA,Thor2 and IM3 (in no particular order). The visuals were amazing and while the direction of the story was somewhat predictable, it's execution was brilliant and the relationships between the characters just clicked. Judging from the ending I'm guessing CA3 will feature the winter soldier(bucky) again which is a great idea imo.

One issue I have is that the movie was a bit long, over 2 hours I think. I was almost a little bored at times before the story dragged me back in. While I'm glad the plot didn't feel rushed it also dragged along a bit during the middle.

Also glad nick fury didn't die :P was worried for a minute.

    Rating: A-
