I don't know how well it will do in japan but i know that in Japan Maleficent is very popular thanks to Kingdom of Hearts.

Also BoxOffice.com predicted that Frozen will have just $180m. And now it has near $400m! Frozen was such a good movie and will also give a boost to Maleficent! Ok i don't say that maleficent will have 400m but 200+ for sure!

The facebook page of Maleficent has more likes than Oz! And i don't agree withthe :Maleficent will have to compete in a typically crowded summer marketplace. Because it opens on May the best month of the year and has still 2 weeks untill How to train your dragon 2 opens! It will have an OW of $80m!

La belle et la bete reached 1.7m admissions! Minuscule - La vallée des fourmis perdue reached 1.3m admissions!

Supercondriaque reached 4m admissions!Bravo! Fiston opened with 700k admissions higher than 300 last weekend!

Maleficent reviews weren't bad it hasn't released yet and the trailer took huge reaction from fans!

La belle et la bete opened with a good opening in Czech republic! $56,456 from just 57 screens higher than Belle et sebastien and many french films Still the monday box office from italy where only 6.1k admissions.. Very sharp drop from last monday!

My film cost €35 million, and Dany Boon’s new comedy cost €32 million. We are able to compete with the American blockbusters – all the more so because our films cost a lot less. We must therefore be able to repatriate our franchises, our fairy-tales, Greek mythology or the tales of Jules Verne, for example, in order to make them into European blockbusters. As soon as I announced that I was making Beauty and the Beast, Hollywood announced it was making two other adaptations of the story at the same time: one by Guillermo Del Toro and starring Emma Watson, and the other one from the Disney studios. Today, my film is in the cinemas, whereas those two American projects still haven’t started up. Those versions cost too much money and take forever to see the light of day. The opening in Italy which was $2.5m was huge and i hope it will continue to be good

La belle et la bete is still performing good It just came out in italy and debuted in 1st place and has still Germany,Russia,Spain,Austria,Turkey,Netherlands,Serbia and Greece to come! Belgium box office haven't uptaded yet but lasts weekend results were $369,280
