BP, Civil War, Endgame and FFH are hell overrated. Eternals is underrated. Iron Man, Guardians V1 & V2 are great. Thor 2 and 4, Quantumania are trash. Infinity War is by far their best movie. The rest are mid.

For what is worth, this is has had fantastic pre sales in Greece.

Shit I need this movies to come out so bad. Haven’t felt this excited for a movie in a long time. And I will mirror what others here have said… I want to see Stahelski’s work in other movies as well. Hope he makes Highlander with Cavill.

Well WB has screwed all their films with their handling. All the films pre-Flash and Flash seem pointless now, Aquaman is still tied to a dead franchise on top of testing poorly and the films to come did not have a very smooth beginning. I like/love Gunn’s movies/shows but I find his decision to keep certain parts of the DCEU, mainly those he worked with, down right stupid. He should have rebooted the whole thing.

Streaming didn’t do shit. It was the studios that killed theatres by making “events” out of mediocre films. Sob now that streaming has films like Glass Onion that is better than anything that plays on a theatre (Avatar aside which is a movie that you have to see on a big screen regardless of story etc.) then attendance will obviously have a free fall. Also the weather was a bitch.

Yeah people will be so pleased that they just let one actor who looks exactly like Supes to get someone like Butler. I think Adam Di Marco from The White Lotus S2 would be a good choice.

Having seen this now I am not surprised by its scores even though I am still now as high on this as many critics. I liked it far better than the first one but I did not like the first one (yeah I am that guy). Here it feels like everyone involved were reacting to Boseman’s death and made the movie giving it everything they had. Every emotion they felt it transcends the screen. Give all the awards to Angela Bassett. A queen in her role and outside of it. And I could sit for hours just listening to her about anything. I am so mesmerised by her voice.

A great Superman movie can be collosal no matter his opponent. This is why they should really be putting their focus on making a great Superman movie before clashing him with BA.

Wait kind confused here...Calvin Ellis and Val-Zon isn't like saying Clark Kent and Kal El.

I will gladly watch black Superman movie...if it's Val-zod. Black Kal El makes absolutely no sense.

Cavill has stated that he was not happy with some creative decisions so that’s not surprising.

Cavill has actually gone on record to say that he was not happy with the direction the show was taking. It is also know that he clashed with writers on some occasions and even though he had no control over what the story would be he stooped some very stupid decisions. Now we also know that some writers despised the source material so, after season 2 reception, it is no surprise that he is abandoning this sinking ship.

Just a question...why i am only seeing people talking about Robbie when it comes to the film being a flop, and not her male co-stars? I mean Bale is right there, a much more experienced A-list actor and the trailer shows him much more. I am not calling Bale a box office poison either. The days of an actor 's name alone selling tickets are long gone. If you make a movie that audiences want to see then they will see it. A critically panned drama by David o Russell ain't it .

What? Harcourt is a great character! And I am just happy that we might be getting a Vigilante spin off. I mean the chances are higher now for that to happen that they were yesterday.

I rewatched this yesterday and it's a very strange thing...I don't like the editing, the score is loud, the action sequences generic, acting with a few exceptions is mediocre, script is below average and story is non-existent. But I still found myself enjoying the hell out of it.

Travis Knight is another director I think would do a wonderful job with this

MacQuarrie would be ideal man. Can't believe WB said no to them back then, forever pissing off MacQuarrie in the process.
