  5. @ListenHunnyUrOver I appreciate you telling us about all this stuff about PDC, but this really isn't needed. We don't ban people for disliking a music artist, and the way you're trying to start a fight with him with three consecutive posts because he said mean things about a woman who will be richer than you will ever be is really uncool and is just making things worse. I suggest you put them on ignore, because this isn't needed at all. Anyhoo, please go back to talking about the silly little airplane movie
  6. It means you’re trying to start something and get a rise out of Gaga fans. And as a mod, please quit while you’re ahead
  7. I'm very much of the belief that if a movie needs to be seen in 3D/IMAX/Dolby/whatever, then that's a sign the movie doesn't hold up or stand on its merits, and that it needs a bunch of bells and whistles for you to get something out of it. I saw Avatar for the first time a month ago off my TV, no 3D or anything, and I loved the movie, because it's just entertaining and exciting, regardless of what format it's on. That's the same case when I saw Gravity on TV, Dunkirk and Dune in standard 2D, and so on. Even disregarding the premium costs, if you need these extra bells and whistle to actually enjoy a movie, then does that mean the movie's actually good? I know this is a very unpopular opinion, but that's how I've always felt with this whole format discourse.

I'll admit that I thought the 300M predictions people were spouting after CinemaCon were a bit too hyped up from the CinemaCon reactions, which are always grain of salt-worthy. And while I don't want to say anything like that will happen just yet...this is more believable to me.
