  1. Just as a heads up that for Top Gun 2, there's a Tuesday IMAX fan screening at a lot of theaters and a Wednesday AMC Investor screening. Another one of these things...
  2. Still, those shows are nothing compared to WandaVision. I'm happy for the people who got something out of it, but I don't understand why people say it's the best show and I never will. It was just a nonsensical smorgasbord of ideas and characters thrown together with an unfunny framing device, with an utterly atrocious final episode in all respects IMO. Teyonah Parris and Kathryn Hahn deserved better. A good chunk of my excitement for this movie is just to see the Multiverse plot done properly.
  3. Loki and Falcon & Winter Soldier have some of the most glacially atrocious pacing I've ever seen. You could turn both of those shows into 2.5 hour movies and nothing would be compromised or lost. Don't know if it's because Papa Feige has no clue how to make TV shows or what, but it's frankly ridiculous.
  4. That's weird, I was told the reactions were nothing like Eternals and that the thread title was totally wrong. 🤔

  6. My dad hasn't seen any of the MCU shows (he says he'll watch them when the whole season is done, but he never does) but loves the movies and watches them all the time on cable. I still remember taking him to Black Widow and explaining during the entire car ride back home why Julia Louis-Dreyfus popped up in the end, what happened in Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and what the Hawkeye show he will never watch will be about. I'm taking him to this over the weekend, since he loves Doctor Strange, but having to explain everything that happened to WandaVision, a show I barely remember, just so he understands why Wanda's doing bad things will be legit torture. I'm still unconvinced these shows won't cause accidental damage to the MCU in the near-future. There's no way people aren't tired of all this Marvel crap shoved in your face in the theaters and at home.

  9. All these reactions scream to me there will be tons of discourse this week and beyond. Funnnnnnn
  10. Those How I Met Your Mother reruns were the blueprint lmfao
  11. Look I don't want to deal with this "ITZ GONNA BOMB GAIZ" stuff for over a month. I need to set the record straight.
  12. If you want to hear something positive, I think nearly 900 tickets in Philly and more than a thousand in Sacramento is very, very strong for a movie that's more than a month away. That's already well ahead of most films' final totals. So we're in a really good spot. If that's still not enough, then I guess you'll have to just be patient for a few weeks and think about something else during that interim.
  13. The ticket launch was the same day as the second trailer. And that's a smart tactic. You see this awesome trailer that gets you hyped up, then you buy the tickets right after seeing it. Maybe the launch will be soft compared to having it out later, but the beginning of presales doesn't mean anything. The final total will still be the same, regardless of when you start presales. Nobody who is excited for the movie is going to skip it because the ticket window is too long or whatever.
  14. You're correct. I accidentally compared Strange's T-4 number with a T-3 number for both Spidey and Batsy (should I call it Strangey?). I guess I wasn't paying attention and really wanted to get this over with, and I apologize for not checking ahead of time. Either way, thanks for bringing this to my attention. Both are fixed and are a lot rosier than before.
