  1. Do you know if there's a live stream or something where we'll see the investor's meeting? Disney did it for Disney+ this past April

If that doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what does
  4. Harriet Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-3 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 18 149 2,515 5.92% Comp 0.548x of Hustlers 3 days before release (1.37M) 0.347x of Downton Abbey 3 days before release (729K) 0.629x of Gemini Man 3 days before release (1.01M) 2.224x of Black and Blue 3 days before release (1.50M) Don't go out expecting this to be a breakout all of a sudden just yet. Black and Blue looked the same way, and that ended up with 675K previews. @Inceptionzq mentioned this, but Philadelphia having a largely black demographic could sway results here quite a bit, and this seems like the case here too. We'll see what the next few days have in store though.
  5. I guess today's going to be a streaming-focused day in the news, as I just saw this: Not to be that guy but "we want people to discover the twists for themselves" sounds pretty...shaky
  6. I know that one of the HBO Max shows has Hiro Murai as a director, though I forget which one, and I'm hopeful that's good. I wasn't crazy for Guava Island, but he directed some of the best episodes of Atlanta (I'm sure he also directed some of the best for Barry, but I haven't seen it yet), and it'd be dope if he gets more work.
  7. Speaking of new streaming platforms Obviously we don't have a whole lot of details yet (there's a conference tomorrow for investors that should give us new details about the service), but Disney+ is looking to get 60-90 million subscribers by 2024, so that sounds like a good target. Let's see what the service has in store.
  8. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-53 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 1 164 7,696 28,790 26.73% Total Seats Sold Today: 79 We're finally at sub-100 here, but it was bound to happen at some point. Still seems to be selling well enough however, though again, I can't really compare it to anything. Even Charlie's Angels I gave up tracking on at this point.
  9. Terminator: Dark Fate Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-4 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 42 233 9,513 2.45% Total Seats Sold Today: 29 Comp 0.177x of It: Chapter Two 4 days before release (1.86M) 0.150x of Joker 4 days before release (2M) Adjusted Comp 0.428x of Hobbs & Shaw 4 days before release (2.48M) A'ight, today wasn't bad. Let's see what the next final days have in store
  10. My Mom called me up yesterday to talk about some school-related stuff, and she mentioned she was excited for this. I was too scared to tell her that the movie was a no1curr.
  11. There are a couple Regals near me that have Last Xmas up, but that's about it. Stuff like Midway and Playing with Fire have more shows at the moment.
