Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-54 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 1 164 7,617 28,790 26.46% Total Seats Sold Today: 139 It's a tiny bit frustrating that there's nothing to talk about comps-wise, but it's still selling way above 100 tickets per day, which has to mean something.

Terminator: Dark Fate Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-5 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 42 204 9,513 2.14% Total Seats Sold Today: 8 Comp 0.169x of It: Chapter Two 5 days before release (1.77M) 0.148x of Joker 5 days before release (1.96M) Adjusted Comp 0.434x of Hobbs & Shaw 5 days before release (2.52M) After what seems like some solid improvement the last couple days, this was a very mediocre final Saturday, even if you want to argue the film's coming down to earth from overperforming yesterday. As of now, I'm hesitant on anything over 35M, let alone 40M.

  7. Before going into it, it's important to recognize that Ryan Reynolds doesn't own Deadpool. And it's likely he asked permission from Warner Bros. to make this, since he has the connections to do so. But if he didn't ask for permission: Fair use law allows people to use copyrighted work, so long as said work is changed enough to be transformative, whether it be through commentary, criticism, or parody. Ryan Reynolds' image is the Joker poster, but the text, as a congratulatory post that focuses on box office, is parodic and is transformative enough from the original work. And it also helps that Ryan Reynolds is a Hollywood actor with a decent enough clout to his name that WB suing him for a random Tweet would be really bad PR compared to a rando YouTuber
  8. Harvey Scissorhands ruined the director's original vision, then Papa Scorsese saved the day. Very interesting read right here: https://www.businessinsider.com/inside-last-harvey-weinstein-movie-the-current-war-2019-10

But hey, I've been wrong before.

  14. Deadline also mentions Good Liar at 6M, which sounds about right. Even I keep forgetting that this movie's coming out.
