  1. Somebody brought up that John Chu, the director for the upcoming movie In The Heights, named his son after the movie. And people started to make a whole bunch of jokes over that, so I was all "I changed my name to Pluto Nash lol. Mods, gotta fix up my name." And the mods were crazy enough to actually do that. So yeah mods, give me my old name back.
  2. https://www.etonline.com/media/videos/little-women-first-look-see-meryl-streep-saorsie-ronan-and-timothee-chalamet-in-action ET Online uploaded this too early, but who cares? Not the full trailer, but you do see snippets. Those snippets are making me mad excited for the full trailer.
  3. It: Chapter Two Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-24 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 86 526 18,516 2.84% Total Seats Sold Today: 19 Adjusted Comp 5.31x of Hobbs & Shaw 24 days before release (30.8M)
  4. Where'd You Go, Bernadette? Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-3 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 10 8 1,505 0.53% Comp 2.67x of Brian Banks 3 days before release (267K) I mean...it could be worse?
  5. Good Boys Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-3 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 25 130 3,524 3.69% Comps 1.88x of Stuber 3 days before release (1.4M) 1.06x of Scary Stories 3 days before release (2.5M) I threw Scary Stories in there as one not to be taken too seriously. But that film was a surprise August breakout with strong presales and had a big-name producer behind it, similar to Good Boys. I don't think it will reach that high, especially since Scary Stories was a well-known IP, but that Stuber comp doesn't seem all that crazy. So if we are looking for a breakout this weekend, this feels like the one.
  6. 47 Meters Down: Uncaged Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-3 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 14 45 2,364 1.90% Comps 0.68x of Crawl 3 days before release (0.7M) 0.36x of Scary Stories 3 days before release (0.85M) It's still in a low number of theaters as of now. Lower than the other two at the same time in fact. But that's still pretty bad numbers right now, especially since one theater takes up 33 of those sold tickets (73%). Weak stuff
  7. Alright mods, the joke was funny for a day, but I'd like to be Eric again.
  8. You've been on this site for months, and you're just now discovering this?
  9. If Jon Chu can name his son after a movie, why can't I do it to myself?
  10. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0325980/?ref_=nv_sr_2?ref_=nv_sr_2 Pirates: July 9 2003 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338094/?ref_=nv_sr_3?ref_=nv_sr_3 Haunted Mansion: November 26 2003 Yeah, maybe Haunted Mansion was shot and produced before Pirates, but it still released after the first movie.
  11. Hey everyone. I decided to change my name to Pluto Nash. Mods, feel free to change it to CoolPluto
  12. It: Chapter Two Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-25 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 86 507 18,516 2.74% Total Seats Sold Today: 1 Adjusted Comp 5.64x of Hobbs & Shaw 25 days before release (32.7M) Like the homie Keyser has been saying, activity was almost non-existent today. I don't know if that signals bad omens, but it's still far enough away to not pull the panic alarm just yet.
  13. You say that as if I'm not gonna see it either way. Gotta get that Chalamet goodness on the big screen.
