  1. Those #s added together equal to 7.19.
  2. Fun fact: this Quibi mentioned here was developed by Jeffrey Katzenberg, in his attempt to create a new streaming service that is "mobile-only" and "focused on quick bites" aka "chapters" of 10 minutes or less...just typing that sentence made me want to barf.
  3. For DOM, I'm gonna go bold and say Eternals, even if it's still in pre-production. I just feel like Chloe Zhao has something special there. WW will go to...I guess F&F9?
  4. @TMP apparently DC Universe will still live? Trash. https://io9.gizmodo.com/warnermedia-s-newly-named-streaming-service-will-not-ch-1836219061
  5. I'm very confused on them promoting Crimes of Grindelwald out of all the Potter movies. I thought WarnerMedia wants to sell their streaming service.
  6. Wonder Woman making less than 400M isn't as crazy as you guys might think. For every Dead Man's Chest, there's a Deadpool 2.
  7. Best not to go to Snyder Twitter. 'Tis a silly place. (Also didn't know people called it Josstice League lmao)
  8. I used to love watching Red vs. Blue with my brother when we were younger.
  9. Oh wait, Variety says this will have Crunchyroll (and Rooster Teeth) https://variety.com/2019/digital/news/warnermedia-hbo-max-friends-exclusive-streaming-1203262335/ Dang, WB is not playing when it comes to the streaming war. It's kind of sad that Disney vs. WB in streaming is looking to be more entertaining than Disney vs. WB in the box office.
  10. To be fair, Berlanti already signed up for an exclusive TV deal with WB a few months ago. In fact, Love Simon and the upcoming Free Guy are the only things Berlanti has done as a writer/producer that wasn't from WB IIRC
  11. btw, if DC Universe is being absorbed, is that also happening to stuff like Crunchyroll and Boomerang?
  12. Disney is still making movies in both theaters and for their streaming service. It's not that big of a deal.
  13. Also Netflix just tweeted this. They did the same tweet for The Office too. It's kind of funny how Netflix is weirdly obligated to make tweets like these.
  14. I don't want to make a club, but with the reactions for the trailer, as well as dem trailer views, I think Mulan has a legit shot at getting the WW crown next year.

  16. The Lion King Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-10 Days and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 102 2,035 18,457 11.03% Total Seats Sold Today: 217**** I'm sure you're confused by the asteriks. So I think I might have screwed up yesterday's results. I think I neglected one showtime from AMC Woodhaven (the theater I mixed up with that shares the same name with another theater in Michigan) yesterday that I accounted for today. I double checked the seat count and everything, and either it was completely empty and miraculously gained 35 seats, or I just forgot about it. Either way, even if you take out those 35 seats, that's still 182 seats sold today at least. It's above and beyond every other day I've tracked so far, and is exactly the kind of strong momentum I was hoping for with this movie. I still can't do any comps yet, but this was a very, very good day.
  17. Any non-big movie will get this treatment of Monday-Thursday tracking. And looking at these numbers, they seem...fine? I have no reference to go off of, but FWIW, Stuber is two seats ahead of Hobbs and Shaw currently.
  18. So a lot of the showings that are being affected are 3D, but not all of them. I'd say at passing glance it's about half and half when it comes to active 3D shows. Don't remember the disappearances, but I believe a couple of them were 3D? Not entirely sure on that one.
  19. @Porthos No, I'm not tracking any Cinemark theaters. Hobbs and Shaw is acting a little weird tho in my area. Some showtimes are acting glitchy by saying they're "sold out", but I sincerely doubt these showtimes went from 0 tickets to 100 tickets in just one day. A couple late showings just straight up disappeared. Maybe it's just a temporary glitch, or theaters trying to reconfigure something, but it is quite odd.
  20. 7.4+3+1.5 = 11.9M That's about a 54% drop, which seems legit. Despicable Me 2 dropped about 56% at the same period in time.
