  1. The Edge of Seventeen should've stayed in September, but it probably would've flopped no matter where it opened. The R rating killed it. The Space Between Us has been having trailers in circulation since the beginning of summer (back when it was supposed to be an August release). Can't wait until it opens so I never have to see the trailers for it ever again.
  2. It didn't start out that way. It was originally a much more modestly budgeted comedy, that saw said budget spiral out of control due to various production problems (including poor test screenings, lost film, etc.).
  3. The history of Town & Country deserves its own movie. The movie was delayed so many times that the opening credits bill Josh Hartnett as "Joshua."
  4. Bad Santa 2 actually might not do too bad for an unfunny-looking cash-grab sequel that was at least a decade too late. Of course, a $25-30M total is nothing to crow about either.
  5. Christmas always allows for multiple films to do well. Besides, we all know Assassin's Creed is locked to be the big bomb of the holidays.
  6. It boggles my mind that the first thing he's done in 15 years looks so...inconsequential. But then the last time he was on-screen, it was the notorious bomb Town & Country (look up that movie's production history if you're bored, no joke), so...
  7. lol for years (and still happening now) there's always been the fear of turning off little boys from seeing a "girl" movie. Remember when they changed Chicken Little from a female to a male because of that reason? I mean just look at the theatrical domestic poster for Frozen. lmao.
