If Disney is going to have Mulan, Dumbo and Lion King all come out in the same year I doupt they will stop having 3 after it. So I guess Aladdin and Little Mermaid are next but I wonder what it's also there. I am hoping something like Hunchback or Sword in the Stone but it's probably Peter Pan or something else dull.

It would be odd imo if Pixar took WDAS project (even though kind of interesting idea). But Pixar does not adaptations in the first place and urban fantasy isnt that difficult concept to think anyway. I have actually wanted Pixar to do this kind of premise. Another one I gave though they should do is time-travel concept which migt fit Pixar even more I think.

That happens when the sequel does not generate any goodwill for the franchise. And people see it as a more of a kiddle mercandice series now than back with first Cars when it had more an image of being about racing and Route 66 that was just a bit more kiddle than usual Pixar films.

Well unless you are a kid the twist is pretty easy to figure out.

You can't take your favorite Dreamworks films and say that average of those is above mediocre. Sinbad, Shrek 3 and 4, Shark Tale, Monsters VS Aliens and Turbo bring down the average down quite a bit and then there is plenty of actually mediocre films that are in neither list. And like cannastop said, some of those you mentioned are mediocre too.

The majority of Dreamworks's films has always been mediocre and these days Illumination makes much more money.

I love the animated Beauty and the Beasts and I am not seeing ths of its just the same film the animated film was but a lesser version. But I have not been interested in any of their live action adaptations so far apart from Jungle Book so I guess my views are not the what most people who watch these films have.

This film was cancelled so late I wonder if the voices were already recorded.

People just need to ignore Twitter reactions. There has been some fan friendly films getting unreasonably good buzz beforehand as well.

What budget it had? Does anyone know?

I actually think this is a universe nobody can explain. Which is why it is so hated, people a dissapointed and frustrated with the whole consept and not just the kids/merchandicing aspect. A rare franchise where "it was all just a dream" might be welcome by some people. And I doupt the kid fans would even care.

Are you sure that this for the same role the other actresses were considered? The film could have 2 important female characters. But I am glad she got this part, I have always been a fan. I do not know if people get that Daenerys is suopposed to be acting a role of Queen in the show in a way so that is why she isn't natural always. I will to to the correct thread too, probably tomorrow however, its pretty late.

Who is the main character? I do not want Lightning to be main charcater either, he is not even now likable and his charcater arch is over.

My annoying teenage brother is really anti-Christian at the moment but otherwise loves based on true story war films like this. Do you think it is good idea to get him watch this film with me? I want to see this film anyway when it comes to my country but I wonder if I should bring my brother since I am Christian and I wonder if he is just going to think I wanted him to watch the film because of that and not because it looks great.

Shouldn't the Rotten Tomatoes number be changed? Is Kedrick's charcater the main charcater? I am thinking seeing this for her but some promotion material makes Timberlake' charcater look like the main character. I guess they both could have equal roles, just wondering since marketing can be misleading.
