I'm excited for this. I really enjoyed Pacific Rim and thought the robots vs. monsters fights were phenomenal. Obviously, the characters and dialogue weren't great (though Idris Elba's character had quite a lot of depth IMO) and besides Ron Perlman who was amazing the actors also didn't do a very good job. But I still think it was a pretty fun and entertaining movie.

Still if you have to compare Star Wars is easily the bigger franchise.
Also, while Pokemon may be bigger than Star Wars in Japan (and maybe other asian countries) Star Wars inspired nearly every filmmaker who's working today.

I actually think Lone Ranger isn't that bad either. Sure it's not nearly as good as the first Pirates film, but I do think it's an average blockbuster.

Tf4 seems to hit 100M+ OW after all. I think this franchise really is the definition of critic-proof. The question now is whether it can top ROTF's 109M Friday-to-Sunday gross.

Trans4rmers on track for 100M+? Well, sucks that a seemingly bad movie does it (I haven't seen it yet), but good for the box office that at least one film makes it over that mark.

The Alexander Skarsgard Tarzan movie is gonna be one hell of a flop. The rest is basically a copy/paste of this summer
Well, but most of those movies are sequels to very well-liked ones so I think they are going to be way bigger.

Seth Rogen/Joseph Gordon Levitt Christmas Comedy-Drama (not sure if it's supposed to be a straight comedy or not)
Already looks slightly more appealing than summer 2015 since Dory left. Avengers 2, Tomorrowland, Jurassic World, Inside Out and Minions (one less than holiday 2015)- Pixels is 50/50. It could be like Ghostbusters but Adam Sandler's in it so I wouldn't count on it. November-December look more compelling over the next 2 years... possibly 3 since Avatar 2, the Star Wars spinoff, Fantastic Beasts, Giants (Disney's next fairy tale musical), and an untitled Illumination Entertainment film are all slated for 2016.
I think summer 2016 looks incredibly strong, too.

Yeah next years Winter line up is incredible it's got Mission Impossible 5, Bond 24, Mockingjay Part 2, The Good Dinosaur, Kung Foo Pand 3.

I'm actually a bit like baumer on Transformers. I think the first one is a legitimately good movie (not great though by any means) and enjoyed the second and third for the Action scenes. However, I am quite sick of the Bay-typical humor and the bad dialogue and the bad acting and so on. I won't be able to see TF4 until mid/late-July, so we'll see if I'll hate it as well.
