  1. Oh stop it - every American I know was talking about it but what exactly do you want us to do regarding it? Run crying & screaming through the streets - we are following it like everybody else.
  2. I guess cause I was a grown-up when I watched it with my kids but I just can't with rats in the kitchen touching & cooking food - I just can't!
  3. I'll never forget the first time I saw this - was 13 the summer of 1977 & I slept over my best friend's house - her big sister & her boyfriend took us to the midnight show - I was blown away!! The audience participation was just so fun & I'll never forget when Tim Curry was revealed in that elevator - me & my friend gasped - never saw a man dressed like that before! Just one of my favorite memories - will always love this movie & Tim Curry was just perfection!
  4. At that time the USSR was a big enemy of the US so to us watching it there is a real villain/enemy - just some context.
  5. I had 3 kids & yes money was a factor - it really adds up with the drinks & food - even when we snuck in our own they still wanted theater food!
  6. Oh I agree with you!! Going up against JW & Minions in Japan - 2 movies that are in the top 5 WW of the year - I am impressed M! kept up as well as it did!! There is always competition.
  7. I agree - I think it is an exciting premise. I remember it being on the news & in the papers at the time - I was 10 - so I am very interested in how it was planned & carried out. I'm just worried about how I will react to the actual walk because heights do get to me - I was really anxious during the MI4 Dubai stunt!! And I also love Joseph Gordon Levitt so that's a plus for me!

  11. Thank you for the chart but is that Rogue Nation number right?? It's lower than 2 weeks ago

  13. Exactly!! It's only a disappointment to posters who predicted outrageously high numbers which so many people on this board seem to do!!
  14. Oh I agree - fantastic movie but the ending just breaks my heart - McMurphy was just so full of life & to see it taken away from him is just heartbreaking!! I do believe this is Jack's best performance along with Louise Fletcher though I despise her character with every fiber of my being!! I do get a kick out of all the patients & their interactions with each other & especially with McMurphy. Just an awesome film!
