Fuck the critics giving this 1-2 stars, this movie was nowhere near that bad. Not perfect, mostly because of some weak dialogue, but the reveals(that didn't happen in the book, but totally elevate the story), characters, and action were all well done. I also never once thought the older actors were hamming it in either, everyone in the cast seemed to be giving it their all.

Jeez, they really hate it. Some a bit too much.

But it also looks like the kept the spirit of the book intact. Same ingredients, different recipe.

Wes Ball mentioned at comic con that the budget for this film is double the first, so it's probably around $65m-70m. I'm glad they are managing to keep it somewhat low.

Okay, so the trailer is actually coming out online Friday, but will premiere at the Paper Towns event Thrusday night. That's a bit better than facing Mockingjay Part 2 on Thursday.

I don't think it's a bad poster, it looks like the first film's character posters, where they merged the environment with the character.

New trailer on Thursday, which seems like a weird choice because it'll be buried by the Mockingjay Part 2 trailer hype.
