I'm going to avoid the series, and just watch the movie, but yea, no doubt it'll hurt Croods 2, unless it's an AMAZING show I guess.
Still, 150M DOM isn't really even a lock
Well, yea, when you compare the budget to the BO numbers, yes HTTYD2 was a success. However, DWA wanted a bigger success to make up for money lost on Peabody and Turbo.
No obviously not the same weekend, but it will still be a pretty big movie being released around the same time...
I completely forgot that FOX is doing both
I still don't see the update on BOM, but I think the Dec date is much better than Nov, I mean, you know, sure either Avatar 2 or 3 will open then but still not a bad date
I think If I Stay will win the weekend, but how can anyone really predict the #2 and #3 spots. Guardians will probably hold better than Turtles, but really, who knows? Sin City will probably be #4...
I remember they aged up the characters for Percy Jackson, and it didn't bother me at all. I really liked the first movie!
Hated the second, but not for that reason...
I'm not sure how this works, but if Fast 7 is a critical success, is WB allowed to use that in their marketing (brought to you by the director of Fast 7 and the Conjuring), or because it is a different studio are they not allowed to do that?
Maybe it's a stupid question but whatever...
Considering how poorly it's performing, I kind of want to make the trip to see Expendables. Piracy is wrong, and I kind of feel sorry for the movie. However, I am seeing Turtles this week, and The Giver does look sort of interesting, so I don't know what I'll end up seeing
