  1. Sorry, I'm not buying that baumer. No one has an objective opinion on what's good and bad - it doesn't matter how much of a minority you're in, everyone's opinion is as valid as one another's. I don't have to "accept" that it's good, because I don't think it is. If you look on RT (mainly from 3D rerelease), there are 21 critics who gave it a Rotten review. Are all those critics objectively wrong and must accept that it's a good film? 11 million audience members (31%) rated it as Rotten too, I guess their opinions are invalid too? What about Avatar. It did amazingly in cinemas, highest grossing movie ever. Sold fantastically post-theatrical release, had 9 Oscar noms, is liked by people of all sorts (did great globally too), has a good IMDB score. Yet we all know Avatar has people who dislike it. Are they objectively wrong?
  2. you only have to look at the ratings for sex and the city compared to entourage to see that obviously SatC is gonna be much bigger.
  3. I like how every post in this thread is just a slightly updated list of what people have seen, no discussions.
  4. and as we all know, if a movie sells lots of tickets that must mean it's a great film, because no one could ever disagree with anyone else about a movie.
  5. Wow, great number for Entourage. I'd never heard of it, at the beginning of summer I thought it would do 20M total.
  6. How am I trolling? Plenty of people think Titanic is awful.
  7. Will Ferrell and Murder Wahlberg, my two favourite actors...
  8. also, the soundtrack blend of a hawaiian childrens choir and elvis presley is rad.
  9. Big and very boring. A couple of enjoyable sequences mean it's not completely void of entertainment, and Sharlto Copley is right on form, but that aside it's a long slog that simply isn't worth the effort of facing your eyes at the screen.
  10. I'm not saying posters and shots can't tell you anything. I'm asking you how you can watch that tiny clip that features a joke and not much else, and conclude that it's very dramatic.
  11. The teaser is what 45 seconds long? It has no dialogue. It has a visual gag. Bit too early to be saying what the film is going to be like.
  12. haha well I am young. And yea, Lilo & Stitch is miles better than the others. It might be my favourite Disney animation ever.
  13. Yeah, the early 2000s Disney stuff gets shoved to the side as it was the end of the "renaissance", but for many of us that's our childhood. I was 7 when Brother Bear came out, and I loved it. I have a real fondness for bears, the salmon run etc. so it holds a place in my heart.
  14. I feel like I've really overpredicted Inside Out. It's hard to judge the hype for IO here as the movie releases in anothrt two months. Animal flick will have a much easier time. I might join your club.
