I just checked, apparently China is tomorrow. Korea later in the week. The OS number this weekend was fairly underwhelming, hopefully it does better. It was obvious that the film would skew higher domestic than most disaster movies, but still.
For BSG I predicted San Andreas to open at 53M... and now it's opened at 53M.
I thought it would do somewhere between 130-150M. Big spectacle action film, I figured it would do fine, if not amazingly.
That's disappointing. Judging by everything on there, looks like they are intending to not have as much emphasis on BOM. Doesn't look like they need to have any sort of knowledge about box office, they just need to be able to manage the data. So likely they won't even be as good as Keith Simanton.
BOM continues to degrade and this is another poor sign. At least it does demonstrate that they don't intend on shutting the site down.
