I don't really understand why Hanks still does this. It's not like he needs the money.
Anyway if this is as bad as Angels & Demons then at least it'll be a film I can laugh at.
2017 movies I'm at least vaguely interested in:
LEGO Batman
Captain Underpants
Skull Island
Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Episode VIII
Planet of the Apes 9
Pacific Rim 2
The Jungle Book: Origins
I was busy doing the 15-years countdown hence this got paused for a few weeks, but I'll continue it later today. No point leaving a thread like this abandoned.
Say what you want about the Star Wars prequels but John Williams gave it his all. Many things were lost from the originals to the prequels, but the music was not one of them.
I think this is everything I've seen from 2013.

Definitely not.
If you look last year at Maleficent, on the same day - day 46 - it earned $712K, whereas Cinderella is earning $173M. Maleficent had 20M left, for this to get another 9M would be very difficult indeed.
I wouldn't even have a problem with it, if they would charge the same for books as well. But they don't - and I don't understand why different mediums should be treated differently.
You get free films from your library??
Here, books are free to take out but movies cost a few £ each. It gets expensive when you compare it to something like Netflix which for the price of 2 or 3 library movies will give you thousands more films.
My output in February/March was rubbish
I don't think I will be seeing anything in the next few days, and unfortunately I will miss out on Gremlins which is on Friday I wish I wasn't busy, I'd love to see that in the cinema.
Films I hope to see in May:
Christine (1983)
The LEGO Movie
The Salvation
Monsters: Dark Continent
Pitch Perfect 2
Mad Max: Fury Road
Gandhi (1982)
Tomorrowland
The Evil Dead (1981)
Poltergeist
San Andreas
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
