Ah yeah ofc, Star Wars, I did know that but forgot
It scares me that for a brief moment anyone could think Star Trek Into Darkness is better than Star Wars OT
I was just wondering how high the bar was for STID to beat for #1
Mine is 2001
As someone who has never watched Trek, I actually think STID is better than ST09, but I do recognise that it could be annoying to fans of Wrath of Khan.
Ah okay.
I actually thought the film was an independent movie until about 5 mins ago when I googled it and realised it was a big studio film with a big budget. That explains why I thought it looked like a fan made film
20-25M?! It looks like direct-to-DVD shit. How the hell did they spend over $100M on something that looks that bad. The trailer looks like utter garbage.
Going to be a total bomb, 5-10M OW.
For once I completely agree with Tele. Legacy was absolute rubbish, with almost nothing to like except for the score, and arguably Michael Sheen's strange David Bowie impersonation. In fact, I might even say the few minutes we got of that club were all good, as it breathed a little bit of life into the entirely hollow world we're meant to believe in. But yeah, I don't think there is much to praise about the film.
Crap, I knew there was something I needed to watch today, I completely forgot about Better Call Saul. I shall watch today's episode now, thanks for that post
Yub nub, not yub yub.
ROTJ is my favourite Star Wars film, though I know that's an unpopular opinion. It was the first one I watched so it holds a special place in my heart.
Not really, Ethan loves Transformers and say what you will but they make fuck tons of money. Maybe a kiss of death for how good it is in your eyes, but not of boxoffice.
2001 is the best film I've ever seen (granted, I haven't seen a huge number of films, but still).
I think it's really interesting because the narrative in itself is essentially useless and isn't what the film is about.
It's such a meticulously crafted film: every shot, every line of dialogue, contains layers upon layers of meaning. I'm SO glad I got to see it in the cinema last year.
