Any word on when they'll drop the embargo for Thanksgiving?
-
Thanksgiving is going to get buried isn't it.

Imagine Thanksgiving had a better opening weekend than The Marvels.

M3gan feels like the best comp for Thanksgiving as they're both original movies. I know Thanksgiving is technically based on a trailer but who knows that?

Are we calling this original or based on an IP? It’s technically based on something but I don’t think it’s known enough to help with BO.

Thanksgiving tickets are on sale now according to Twitter.

got an 18 rating in Ireland, I assume the same will happen in UK.

The final lucrative weekend of the year is here. Unless the actors' strike ends by next week, then the rest of the year will be quite the endurance test for exhibition.
I’m hoping Thanksgiving will do really well but feel like I’m deluding myself.

This opened really well in the UK on Wednesday, then seemed to drop almost 50% for Thursday.

This makes me dread what Blumhouse are
going to do with Dead By Daylight as that's a harder game to adapt than FNAF.

Good for the budget , i think if the movie makes like 300-350M , i think it's a little victory for Lionsgate because outside John Wick , it's not a good year for them.
Saw X did well.

What are the chances that Thanksgiving outsells Hunger Games?

Does Hollywood fear RT? Seems silly as this movie is review proof. I'd still see Thanksgiving if it sat at 5%.

This conversation has become like the movie, boring and tedious.

Reminds me of when news outlets were doom reporting about Joker bringing in violent people in the cinema, only for a machete fight to occur at a Frozen 2 screening a month later.
There has been a video of violent during a FNAF screening also.

Has no one else here seen this yet?

While I do hope the fans enjoy FNAF a lot more than I did, I just found it to be a slog to get through, after the opening scene nothing really happens for another hour and when it does it's over so fast it almost feels like the movie doesn't want to be a horror movie.
-
I just saw it, thought it was BORING. Very little horror, tension or suspense. Also very predictable.

It's before the embargo date (unless they changed it), so that's likely why. Maybe some people jumped the gun?
It's out today in the Uk, thought maybe Uk embargo was different?

Who would have thought that Saw X would be the best-reviewed wide-release horror movie released towards the end of the year? Unless Thanksgiving gets better reviews...

There where a few negative reviews on Rotten Tomatoes earlier, they're gone now, did they remove them or is it just ok not seeing them?
-
FNAF is out tomorrow, how are there no reviews or reactions yet? Less than 24 hours to go.
