People predicted MJ1 worse legs than THG and CF. They did the same mistake again this year. It's much more easier to get better legs with a smaller OW. I don't know what that means, but ok.

Because they hated the film, and can't think objectively. The first rule when you predict box office is to separate your personal opinion on the movie and your prediction.

I don't think MJ2 can reach 300M, but it won't collapse like some thought. 2.8-2.9 multi would be great (287-297M finish).

No, it's not explained in the book more than in the movie. Nobody knows for sure who let Prim go to the Capitol. The answer is obvious though, even if you haven't read the books.

@water THG and CF were way more popular with white audiences, the movies reached the minorities later, that's why the "white gross" decreased and the "black/latino/others gross" didn't. In Hungary every installment increased in admissons, and there are a lot of racist people.

MJ1 OW dropped big after the well liked CF and the OW has almost nothing to do with the quality of the movie. You can explain the lower MJ2 OW with people disliking MJ1, but how do you explain MJ1's OW?

I loved this movie and i almost walked out when i saw Hobbit 3 in the cinema, it was painfully boring.

We have only 1 IMAX room in Hungary (20 min by train from home), and most of the time you can only see 3D movies. I saw Interstellar and MI: Rogue Nation there, because they were in 2D.

Exchange rates are really hurting this movie. Oh, and actually we don't have IMAX on the first week, there was only 1 or 2 IMAX preview shows.

Maybe The Hunger Games doesn't have that big fanbase as we thought. This number makes the first two movie's run even more impressive.

Only TGD. If MJ2 drops similar to MJ1, it'll be in the high 40s. No way Creed opens that high (3 day).
