Looks okay. Watched first one in theaters. Second on laptop. Third on the phone I guess.
The next marvel film I will see in theaters if they turn out to be good or above expectations is Blade and F4. Rest don't excite me.

So much for my source saying it is top 5 MCU and best ant man. Must be in jovial mood when he watched it or his source might have been. Anyways, will still check it out in theaters, but hard to get excited for the future unless they can knock it out of the park with some key films.

Rooting for Leterrier. Hopefully, he gets his first worldwide mega hit and gets flood of offers.
Looks fun as hell, but I think War & Pathan director, Sid Anand would have delivered something cooler with a 350+ budget.

People were saying same for 2015 version...can't be worse than 2005 and 2007 movies...lol...

I feel the next film that will make decent-good money is the ranbir+shraddha ROM com.
Bhola might leg it out, but I think movie-goers have spent all their quota on pathaan. Hence, February releases are screwed.

It's the gay couple thing. America pretends to be open. It ain't. Orthodoxy is still seeped deep inside the average american middle class. The gays are a minority and simply don't have the clout or numbers to make such films hit. They can use same sex thing in bigger commercial superhero movies and it may work, but if you think they will breakout and do a billion, you are sorely mistaken. Expecting a country to suddenly develop their tastes when they can't even elect a female president after 246 years of independence is expecting too much.

Assuming this stays on its current release date, casting will be announced comic con 2023. Shooting will start in fall 2023. Reshoots in summer 2024. First trailer comic con 2024.

The makers were absolutely idiots. Spent all the money making an expensive movie, but totally failed at narketing. They didnt even attempt to remove original VV or dubbed version from streaming platforms. At least Ajay had the sense to do it with drishyam2.
That and they chose wrong release period, during dusshera when hindi families don't go out much. They promoted alcoholia when the movie had much better songs albeit non commercial to promote.
It was a damn good movie, but stigma of being a scene to scene remake of a movie that everyone had watched during pandemic did not help it all.
A good movie that was a commercial failure for all involved due to dim wits in charge of promotion /marketing.
Also, since original /dubbed is widely available on OTT and played on TV channels, there is no point of this coming to OTT.
