    Titanic is of course the obvious choice but I feel even many smaller movies still make me go WTF when I see their adjusted grosses Rush Hour 2 adjusts to $324 million. A good example

    has Boxoffice.com Removed their budgets from the movie pages? I always liked to use those to check the budget combined with marketing costs

    this is old but I think it needs to be reminded now that Chris Pratt hasn't led a non franchise film yet and JLaw seems to be fading starpower wise a bit based on Joy and even the last Hunger Games

    Fantastic Beasts would be really successful if it makes 200m. It may take place in the same universe but it is not a Harry Potter movie. It doesn't have Harry Potter or literally any of the characters from the original series. It is a spin off in every sense.

    hope Independence Day Resurgence gets one hope Batman Vs Superman gets some kind of ad. I expect Captain America and Alice 2 to get one

    if I had fairy godparents, I would wish that Cameron give up this Avatar stuff and go back to making R rated action movies like Terminator 2, Aliens, and True Lies.

    not necessarily. People could have pirated it just to see how bad it was.

    my local library now allows to even check out new movies for free. I am honestly surprised studios have no problem with this
