And with all the drama surrounding its first couple of PS days and at the and the total will barely exceed FF8 and IW!!. I am really confused? please explain more.

I dont think you are concerned the way you are making this comment. I am a Marvel fan and I really want Shazam to make big. It is a good movie. By the way, regardless about the weekend numbers. Shazam is already concidered a succesful movie. No need to start a negative wave of comments.

Even though, the butthurt from Disney is only growing from many here. I really dont understand the amount of hate Disney is getting !!! You can hate on Marvel, SW but to enjoy the flop of a movie about a cute baby elephant is beyond reason.

I hope you are joking, this movie is more of a Family/Kid movie. Do you realize some animated movies drop 86% on there first Monday. Shazam did well on FSS, with an awesome hold on Saturday and normal drop on Sunday. Plus most of schools and college are on. Shazam Monday box office is just normal.

I really wish Nutcracker to bomb so hard, so Disney can shake things up. They fired Rich Ross Disney Studio's chairman after John Carter flopped. It is always subjective how people think about movies. For me, Zootopia is considered a movie for adult and grown ups and it can be taught in college with its message of diversity, tolerance, equality and the right to be part of a society. In other part Moana has a strong message to empower women and make them strong, clever and leading with a wonderful animation and heart felt story. They are all good movies with strong message and people can prefer one to the other based on how they think, feel and how the story impact them. Everyone has the right to prefer one more than the other as long as they all agree they are both great movies.
