    Adjusted for inflation, every single OT Star Wars movie made more than JP on the domestic market. A lot of people associate the new film mostly with the 70s/80s ones, so a huge opening (200m +), even in december, is definitely possible. Everyone and their grandmom will set out to storm the theatres.

    I watched it in 3D 2 times back in 2009 and I loved it, the visuals were grandiose. Last year I wanted to come back for another Pandora journey, but it felt dated. Some examples where I noticed bad cgi are the scene with the thanator attacking him or anytime there are multiple Na'vis on screen, they don't look as detailed. Overall, it isn't horrible, but it is not praiseworthy either.

    Lol I just had the "one/many" discussion with my brother yesterday and we came to the conclusion, that "many" implies a large number of something Their respective life-action movies were bombs, but I think both have sure-fire hits with Dory/Incredibles 2, so it's fine. You cannot have everything.

    Many? Only two movies come to my mind - Tomorrowland and John Carter.

    In my opinion, the CGI aged terribly in this movie. I cannot even watch this anymore, it looks so fake and glossy to me.
