  1. From what I hear, Paramount also has a special push ready for sometime in the not so distant future with theaters having Top Gun and Top Gun: Maverick as a double feature with special footage added.
  2. Also, if you are listening Paramount..... once it hits $700m+, put it out on PVOD in October and then do a huge push for it coming to Paramount+ in December. From there, get it an IMAX 3D special or similar along with a re-relase for award season in early 2023.
  3. Still calling my shot.... $575m by the end of July 4th for TG2. $600m right around or on July 10th. It will play strong through August, have a great bump on Labor Day and then stay around until at least the end of September in many theaters. $700m+ is happening.
  4. Lol that you had someone give me a warning for THAT. You guys need to check yourselves a lot more than you check others at this point.
  5. OMG, they warned me for THAT post? Jesus, that was nothing and I liked your post like a second later. This is a decent place filled with good Box Office discussion, but the Mods are over their skis and ruining this place.
  6. Right, but one of the mods in particular doesn't like me and has been itching for any reason to ban me for a long time. He was told that he couldn't and it drives him crazy so it always is these ticky tack warnings from others instead.
  7. Also, when you run off a nice guy like Baumer due to exactly what I have been talking about being the problem for a long time on here, you know you have a real issue.
  8. Amazing, the mods issue me a WARNING for posting an analysis of Disney/Pixar yet this post here is allowed. @ZeeSoh you might want to be consistent here.
  9. Here is the honest truth about Disney/Pixar and their path forward. I was one of the first that saw the kiss scene in Lightyear and said it was super harmless, sweet, loving and anyone who had an issue with it was an idiot. With that said, for movies and shows targeted at young children, including scenes of representation in every project is going to be a losing strategy overall for Disney. At the end of the day, even parents that are completely supportive and comfortable with LGBTQ+ representation and gay rights just want to have their kids watch a movie that entertains and doesn't stir controversy every time you want to turn on something new. The argument is valid that the fact that it is even "controversy" is the problem, but the reality is that people just want to be entertained. All that works great for adult skewing stuff like Doctor Strange: MoM and similar, but it is just going to tank projects like Lightyear and Baymax.
