This duel between KFP4 and Dune2 is quite something to see

Just a 12.6% drop for Dune 2, sitting in 2nd place still
To put things in perspective, on OW the Quebec share of the domestic BO was 2.26%, which is logical considering Quebec is 2.14% of the Domestic population (USA + Canada). Now on last weekend the share is at 3.93%, nearly double.
Incredible legs here. Let's see if it reaches 4.52% which would be double the OW share
Edit: for those wondering, the OW was $1,862,192 vs current total of $7,621,183 for a multiplier of 4.09, so far

By the way, I am a native French speaker and his accent speaking French is one of the best out there. Like other celebrities try, and that's commendable, but he's on another level.
For sure he almost nearly sounds like a native. Incredible. Even if he makes a few mistakes here and there (mostly words borrowed from English), the actual accent (intonation, way of speaking) is 100% on point. And that's the hardest part of French to get.
The only American who speaks better French is Jodie Foster, and that's because her accent is essentially native as she went to school in French from a young age. Her French is, quite simply, flawless.
But his is close second in terms of non-native celebrities speaking French.Edit: They have a French bubble on set according to Denis Villeneuve (the 2 of them speak only French) and that made my day when he said that.

Out of those that are already watching movies in a cinema again, most started to visit cinemas again in 2023, a smaller part was not back even yet.

Dune has had way better Sunday drops than most movies so far, because of PLF.

I wish it would, but the odds are it won't play out like GOTG3.
In the later parts of its run GOTG3 was starting to have summer hugely benefitting late legs. Dune 2 won't have that.
Also it's losing PLFs soon. And it's not a four quadrant movie.
But the $300M dream isn't entirely dead yet. It's on life support at best, though.
