I do not understand that sentence :
I am sure I am wrong, but reading the words I understand you take any / every day... (of life?) over new SW films = you do not want new SW films.
After reading a lot of posts here I think you do want new SW films.
Where is my gramar / language understanding wrong? Or did I misunderstand your general POV on new SW films?
Oops. forgot a word, actually
Correct sentence would be:
"I'll take that any day over not having any new Star Wars movies coming up."

And before about 10 people jump in to shout in all caps "KOTOR," also take into consideration how what you would want would fit into the new canon with some detail. Simply dropping something of whole cloth from the old EU is kinda lazy.
Oops, hadn't read that part
...
Thoughts to follow
edit: it's okay to spoil KOTOR in here right?

Knights of the Old Republic hands down.
And more than 1 movie. A duology, trilogy, whatever, but more than 1.

The way I look at it, the more Star Wars movies we get, the more chances we get to watch the next great Star Wars movie in theaters. I understand the concern of oversaturation and affecting canon, but I feel like each movie can be taken on its own terms and enjoyed that way. If you don't like it, just ignore it. That's what I did with large swaths of the EU for years.
No kidding, any of the next movies could be the next masterpiece of the series -- Only cost: having more of them.
I'll take any day over not having any new Star Wars movies coming up.

Why do you need to make something out of nothing? There was no personal attack on Tele. Only a questioning of his own bias coming into play.
No one is without bias. No one.
You would do well to remember that

tbf to @MovieMan89, his last few posts explaining his opinion haven't been rants at all. I disagree with him, but he's been pretty reasonable in explaining his point of view.
Let's say his behavior yesterday kinda forced me to put him on ignore, but if what you say is true, then I will remove him from ignore.
...and see what happens. Thanks!

MovieMan is still at it I guess?
I said ignoring IronJimbo was the best policy, I also mean MovieMan by the way, if only until he calms down on this Gareth Edwards = ruined my childhood thing

FWIW, I meant "by 12/31". Not for its total run.
Still not gonna happen but I guess that's an upgrade compared to your $200M total dom for Rogue One

Agree.
Rogue One is the prequel we were looking for.

Just got back from Rogue One
This movie was made for the fans. The true diehard Star Wars fans. That's the best complement I can give considering I was strongly opposed to these Disney Star Wars films, and I didn't like the EU lore was did away with, but I noticed a lot or similarities between this film and past things I had read in the books. I really enjoyed it!! Glad they kept some 'lore intact.'
All my itches were scratched. All the characters were pivotal in the story. The plot wasn't forced at all, and it fit seamlessly into the Star Wars universe. I'm going again in IMAX.
Special effects were top notch too. Couldn't tell one poorly down shot in the entirety of the movie. The last act of the movie a lone it worth it! I'm telling you the 3rd act of this movie kicks all kinds of ass. Had a special space battle too. Ranks up there with some of the best of all time including Return of the Jedi. Rotj probably still has my favorite space battle of all time, but this one is up there. There's lots of great fan service to the original films too. Being a huge Star Wars fan growing, I dug the references to the other movies.
Definitely recommend. Liked it WAY WAY more than TFA.

It was General Montgomery's fault. He thought attacking a larger force, in a fortified city, in the middle of a blizzard, was somehow a sensible battle plan.
My location says that's a good thing

What do you know about Rogue One's development process? How do you know that no one cared about making a good movie, about being faithful to what make Star Wars, Star Wars?
We already know you found it disgusting, but it seems clear to me that by watching both Ep 3 and Ep 4 on a loop while filming and in post-production, they at least wanted to do right by the continuity. All the small details found in the movie, callbacks, and nostalgia trips are carefully thought of and mostly add to the story in a meaningful way. Much care has been put into this film, more than you give it credit it for I believe. I don't think can deny that Gareth Edwards is a Star Wars fan first and foremost, he said George Lucas' review of the movie mattered the most to him (yes, even more than yours, or mine!), and that he could die happy now.
If that's not the words of a fan...
