  1. I don't think $500M OS will be in trouble even with only $65M from China. Would still get to $525M+ IMO.
  2. Do you know that Vier gegen die Bank starts on Sunday? One Day shouldn't be enough for 300k, should it? And no movie is closer to 1M 89 1.003.228 767 1.308 10 Eclipse (CON) 90 1.001.659 740 1.354 01 Die Mumie kehrt zurück (UIP) 91 1.001.230 762 1.314 16 Rogue One (BV) 92 983.777 258 3.813 94 Der König der Löwen (FOX) http://www.insidekino.de/DJahr/DBOStartrekord.htm
  3. In admissions RO has the biggest OW of the year, too. The biggest weekend of 2016 holds SW7 with 1.541.646 in its third week. Where will RO end this year? 1 4.841.241 Zoomania 2 4.619.884 Les Tuche 2 - Le reve américain 3 3.783.833 The Revenant - Der Rückkehrer 4 3.735.249 Deadpool 5 3.715.697 The Jungle Book 6 3.612.063 Pets 7 3.456.067 Ice Age - Kollision voraus! 8 3.415.080 Findet Dorie 9 3.297.229 Phantastische Tierwesen und wo sie zu finden sind 10 3.225.393 Camping 3 Will RO and FB reach 4M? 4. So it's again: Don't trust in BOM if it comes to OS numbers
  5. Does not seem like a very good OW. How is it compared to TFA?
  6. Really great to see RO having made 1M (should be 99% certain now ) Now I'm happy and we don't have to go to archives to search for the last year that no movie made 1M OW I don't see this missing 4M now But a really unbelievable Story is P&F It fell again just 11% and over Christmas it should much more money. How much can it approach 1M? 800k seem assured, 900k possible to me...
  7. In local currency that is NZ$2,211M against NZ$4,507M (-51%). And just 150k more it would been among the TOP10 biggest OW. I just saw that yours must be lc, too. It should be about US$1,54M (TFA had $3,03M) so that's down just 49%. It's the second biggest OW this behind BvS (6th best OW ever, NZ$2,4M) (Numbers from InsideKino and Box Office Mojo)
  8. Germany, from the beautiful South-West where the best Wine grows (I do not like Wine and that's a Problem here )
  9. If that: The bottom half of the Top 10 includes Russia ($5.6M), Brazil ($5.3M), Mexico ($5.1M), Spain ($4.5M) and Sweden ($3.5M and 66% of the market). And that: Sweden Disney 12/16/15 $3,945,455 18.5% $21,346,653 7/20/16 Is correct, I think we have a country where RO didn't fall much from TFA. That would be just 11% down. SW7 was huge there and made $21M with a multi better than 5x (according to BOM).
  10. Is that a metaphor or does it really snow where you are? Here it didn't snow at all this winter beside a bit industrial snow At least it tells us that RO had the biggest start of 2016. And the 1M question isn't that important for its gross (if it didn't top that number it'll be within 15k I think). But personally for me it seems so important to have a 1M start.
  11. I think Germany (for example) could have a 4x multi after a 4-day weekend. TFA had 4,15x after a huge OW (in Germany). It is possible - especially with christmas holyday. But of course not all countries will have a multipler wich is that high. But it depends less on the days of the weekend than on the overall behaviour (concerning frontloadness) in that markets.7 From its $280M OW TFA had 3,6x for 1B. The same would give RO $485M. If it holds a bit better $500M could happen. I do not say that it happens. But it's definitly possible if WOM is good.
  12. With $500M Dom I think you're right, sadly the current markets probably won't do much more than $450M. But maybe this will have extraordinary legs and comes much higher!
  13. Sadly this doesn't tell us if RO had 1M+ admissions. So we'll have to wait
  14. Moana really does great here! In face of the $10M OW of RO it made $4M again! France fell only 12% with a $4m third weekend for $16.4m to date, the UK added $1.8m (dropping 25%) for $8.7m after three weeks in play and China took $2.2m for $28.4m to date.
  15. $500M would need an multipler of 3,23x. TFA had more than 3,78x. Do you think it'll decrease that much?
  16. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story launched with a $290.5m global weekend, landing top of the chart in every market. Overseas, Rogue One’s $135.5m bow from 54 territories marks the fourth highest December opening of all time, with the highest opening weekend of 2016 in the likes of France ($10m), Germany ($12.5m) and Spain ($4.5m). Its biggest international debut came in the UK with a four-day $21m opening marking the biggest of the year to date and the second biggest December opening ever, behind only The Force Awakens. Other highlights included the third highest opening weekend for Disney ever in Australia with $10.8m. At 708 IMAX screens worldwide, Rogue One amassed $29.2m for the second biggest December IMAX opening of all time. $10.2m of its opening weekend came from 307 IMAX screens overseas, including the biggest IMAX opening ever in Japan, Denmark and Belgium. -Screendaily
  17. How is that Saturday-increase compared to TFA? It seems RO could close the gap from about 33% of TFA up to 41% Can it get over 50% after it's run?
  18. The 3rd Trend has RO now at 1M (down 25k from yesterday trend), that gonna be very slim... Sing 325k (-16%/-23%) FB 160k (-39%) WbdH 125k (-21%)
  19. The movie is great And in my opinion it gets better the longer it lasts. Towards the end it's getting more and more like a SW-Movie. It should have good WOM
  20. That is possible? Edit: It happened to me as well For the first time - is that new?
  21. lc50M I think, not? That would be $60M. With Russia maybe your right
