  1. The UK will perform similarly to how USA&Canada will perform. If it drops 20% domestic, it will probably drop 20% in the UK. My estimate for TLJ's domestic total is ~$700m.
  2. What is your favourite Jim film of all time? Mine is Terminator 2: Judgment Day. What score/rating do you give each of his filmography? Avatar: 9.5/10 Titanic: 10/10 True Lies: 8.5/10 Terminator 2: Judgment Day: 10/10 The Abyss: 8.5/10 Aliens: 10/10 The Terminator: 10/10
  3. I'm not sure any superhero movies are going to bring something new to the table
  4. If Avatar 2 makes 6-7 times more in China than Avatar in did in China, we're SOARING.
  5. Can't wait for the Bart Simpson vs Donald Duck film to be announced.
  6. TFA + TLJ could come anywhere from $3.3-$3.8b. This is the sort of range I'm gunning for, $3b on lock. Avatar OS ($2.03b) > TFA OS ($1.13b) + TLJ OS is probably happening. The Last Jedi has to make over $0.9b OS to stop this from happening.
  7. I'm guessing the trilogy will get about $5b combined. I wonder if that's possible... well if anyone can do it, it's Jimbo himself.
  8. I think most non-English speaking countries performed significantly worse than the English speaking ones.
  9. Thanks again, watched 4 episodes last night. It's really great, exactly what I was looking for.
  10. It's true honestly true. I never read the comics so the only heroes I was familar with before the MCU/DCEU scourge was Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Hulk, Captain America, Wonder Women and the X-men. I think having a cartoon in the 90's and early 00's really impacted my knowledge of heroes. I wholeheartedly agree there easily could have been different choices made. I didn't have a scooby clue who Dr Strange was, that easily could have been Captain Marvel. I hadn't heard of Black Panther or even Thor. Anyway I don't actually have a clue but you would think that they would chose the films/stories based on the popularity of those stories/characters. I can't answer that question but I would hope they were snub'n the female leads because they simply weren't as popular.
  11. I think the popular Marvel women are mostly in x-men. Storm, Rouge and Jean Gray.
