I’m about to state the obvious, but I think the reason why this industry will not entirely collapse is because cinema is, video is, and its connected trades are. There is no collapsing the idea, because the idea of these forms of storytelling can never be erased from history. Many things have surpassed literature in popularity, but literature is, so literature persists anyway. As long as humans are alive and breathing and having access to a camera, cinema will persist in some way, shape or form. Will the strike cause this industry to change? Absolutely. But it won’t die, because it cannot die, because it is.

Curious about this one. But with Chaos Walking, we know that people won't see a movie just because Daisy Ridley used to star in Star Wars movies. I do think she's a good actress, so we'll see if this can revitalize her career.

I agree. I will amend my decision to completely abandon the game, I know I said in the Telegram chat that I was moving on from it but I can write quickly to help get some films on the board. But yes, I think the deadline should be extended. I suggest an extension of one month. And I gotta get to the calendar edits, I will get to that shortly. But yes, I suggest Labor Day + One Month

I want to add a disclaimer to this statement. I think Tim Ballard is a hero in terms of rescuing children. QAnon promotes conspiracies and I don’t know if those are true or false (how could I), but I feel bad/conflicted for saying outright that Ballard and Caviezel are liars because of their engagement with QAnon. I just don’t know the whole picture. On one hand, they have done good deeds, very heroic deeds, and on another hand, one’s good deeds does not get them to Heaven. I don’t have all the answers regarding this matter but I will state that in a world where we seem to be surrounded by lies, I believe that the Bible stands as the ultimate truth.

I must address the statement in the picture. Know that we, as human beings, were never meant to be mere consumers. We were never meant to fully absorb ourselves in the works of Disney and Warner Bros., or Microsoft, or Nintendo, or any conglomerate. We were made for much more than that! We've seen artistic greatness throughout history from figures like Michelangelo, and Shakespeare, and Chevalier, and Austen, and Critchon. How sad it is that some of us have lost our way! And many of those on strike live the life of a writer out of inner purpose, out of an unspoken knowledge that they were placed in the 21st century specifically to tell beautiful stories only they can tell! How sad it is that conglomerates block the beauty of these writers' works in favor of promoting "blockbusters" designed for "safety" and "general audiences" in a cowardly manner! How sad it is they 'live,' greedily, for the bottom line! I've prayed for the souls of Zaslav and Iger. I've prayed that they repent, and that they turned from their wicked ways before it's too late for them. Because it may seem like nothing will ever change, but behold—a change is coming soon! Man-made empires have fallen in the past, and in due time, we'll see them fall again, with our very own eyes. And it is my hope that we will allow our stories to pursue excellence, to help people along in their lives, and to shake the earth once more! Yes, indeed—a change is coming soon! Amen.

If anyone answers this, quote or mention me too, because I’m curious to know (or have no idea why) she’s hated. I have an educated guess, however, and she may be hated because she “isn’t Snow White” if you know what I’m saying. But if she nails the role, then yes she is Snow White, darn it!

The underdog must win!! I better sabatoge Rorschach! (Asyulus stomps on a Koopa Troopa, then throws the shell at Rorschach's bomb.) Fancyarcher: Rorschach! Look out! (Production rushes in, stuffs an item in Rorschach's hand, and rushes out. Rorschach smirks and reveals the item!) SLAM!: It all comes down to this! Who will dismantle their bob-omb first? Will it be Fancyarcher? Or will it be Rorschach? (The Koopa Squad cheers on Rorschach.) (A bandaged Asyulus joins the Pokey Squad, and they all cheer on Fancyarcher.) (The Goomba Squad just stands there.) (Ludwig Goransson composes intense music.) (Barbies and Kens dance in the background, ignoring the tension like how they ignore thoughts of death in the movie.) (Finally, Rorschach dismantles his bob-omb.) SLAM!: We have a winner! (Fancyarcher's bob-omb explodes on him, and he goes flying.) Everyone congregates around a podium. Dune getting pushed to 2024 would change the whole awards race in major ways. Of course there’s an extra slot for Picture, but now there’s extra slots available for Director, Adapted Screenplay, and all of the techs it would’ve been nominated for. Plus, if Dune isn’t there to win VFX, then what’s winning it instead?
