  1. @Asyulus @DAJK @The Dark Alfred @elcaballero @Fancyarcher @Goldenhour36 @Rorschach @ZeeSoh Hello! I’m in Guatemala and it’s been great so far. I must confess that I do have access to the internet, but only when we’re at our lodging area. That being said, I am sure that I don’t have time to write the episodes myself, so I think I made the right decision to find a guest host in ZeeSoh, plus it keeps the game fresh and interesting. So I will be around if there’s any questions, that and I’m genuinely curious to see how the week plays out. Good luck!
  2. @Asyulus @DAJK @The Dark Alfred @elcaballero @Fancyarcher @Goldenhour36 @Rorschach After quietly deliberating on whether or not I should keep it a secret, I have decided to reveal to you that I am appointing the current BOT Survivor Champion @ZeeSoh as my guest host for the week. ZeeSoh will tabulate and write a Tribal Council skit for the Tuesday immunity challenge, and he might also write a skit for the Top Ten Prediction immunity opportunity. I’ve asked for both skits to be posted in this thread (along with the players’ predictions) to keep the game consistent. I cannot remind you to predict without access to the internet. Therefore, you must remind yourselves to predict. Your fate in the game may rest in your ability to remember to predict! I think this week will turn out all right if everyone follows the instructions. So please: follow the instructions. You must follow the instructions. God watches all. 👁️ My plane is about to depart, and I will soon leave the US. Good luck this week!
  3. @Asyulus @DAJK @The Dark Alfred @elcaballero @Fancyarcher @Goldenhour36 @Rorschach Production apologizes for the long delay. **** Penguin King: Can you believe ice doesn't count as an element? Such rubbish! Earth, Air, Fire, and Water get to count, but not ice! As the kids say: S-M-H! Anyhoo, please stand on this iceberg and have a snowball fight! The last person standing on the iceberg wins. Ready? GO! A snowball fight begins. The Dark Alfred: (eats Red Mushroom) Peace and love, man! (throws a snowball at elcaballero) elcaballero: Dang, was that a snowball or a brick?! Asyulus: If I can use a pencil... Then I can use a snowball. elcaballero: Let's snowball them together! (Asyulus and elcaballero team up, barraging Alfred and Goldenhour36 with snowballs until they're off the iceberg.) The Dark Alfred: 🥶 Goldenhour36: 🥶 (Please imagine them bobbing in the water inside rectangular ice cubes.) Rorschach: Hey, DAJK, can you get Asyulus out for me, cuz he used those mushrooms against me? DAJK: For sure! Time to avenge my friends! (DAJK sprints across the ice, tackles Asyulus, and they both fall into the water.) Asyulus: 🥶 DAJK: 🥶 Rorschach: Thanks, bud. 😉 (Suddenly, Goldenhour36 returns to the iceberg.) elcaballero: Huh? Didn't you fall in?! Goldenhour36: Yes—but with my one-up mushroom, it's far from over! elcaballero: Uhhh... This looks tough. I better use a red mushroom! (They throw snowballs at each other, but Rorschach is in the way and gets pelted!) Rorschach: Guys, I—ooh—hey—ouch— (Rorschach runs off to escape the pelting.) Rorschach: 🥶 (elcaballero and Goldenhour36 continue throwing.) elcaballero: Your snowballs are pushing me back! Goldenhour36: Same here, dude! I'm gonna fall! (They both fall in.) elcaballero: 🥶 Goldenhour36: 🥶 SLAM!: It's official! The results are in... SLAM!: This means everyone other than [the immunity winner] is in danger of being eliminated. Now, normally you'd be going to tribal council tonight, but for one week only, there won't be any tribal council this week. But Fancyarcher will still be immune from what's about to happen. And to help explain further, we're bringing out a special guest whose lamp was rubbed... The iceberg cracks, then bursts, revealing: Here's the IMPORTANT INFORMATION DOSSIER (Wario's Warehouse | Tribal Council | Weekend Challenge)
  4. @Asyulus @DAJK @The Dark Alfred @elcaballero @Fancyarcher @Goldenhour36 @Rorschach Episode delayed to tomorrow due to too many estimate numbers, not enough actuals. This Tuesday/Wednesday will not have a tribal council. More to come tomorrow... Good luck!

  9. @Asyulus @DAJK @The Dark Alfred @elcaballero @Fancyarcher @Goldenhour36 @Rorschach AHEM. Eldstar: Me and my star buddies will be giving out more items on Friday through a one-time event called STAR-GAZE During the star-gaze event, you will pick one of seven stars. Each star will give a player an item. Every item has the power to change the game. It will be first come first serve and announcing your pick in the thread just like last time. But be warned: the item that the star gives you matches the personality of the star who's giving it (at least a little bit)—so be discerning! Good luck!

Please remember that the Tuesday immunity predictions are due at 11:59 PM PST or at least before the release of Tuesday estimate numbers. Votes are due tomorrow night at 7:00 PM. Eldstar: Ahem. SLAM!: Oh yeah! I will reiterate that percentage-increase items must be used by the Tuesday immunity deadline, and all other items are fair game to be used by the Wednesday deadline. Eldstar: AHEM! SLAM!: Oh yeah number two! Eldstar has another special announcement after tomorrow’s tribal council. Stay tuned!
  12. In my head, of course it happened because of the writer's strike. If production delays cause less films intended for theatrical to make it out in 2024, then it makes a lot of sense that films intended for streaming would fill that vacant space in 2024.
  13. @Asyulus @DAJK @The Dark Alfred @elcaballero @Fancyarcher @Goldenhour36 @Jack Sparrow @Rorschach Donkey Kong: Ook ook! <All right, Survivors. The Survivor who collects the most bananas. Capisce? Now go get those bananas, cuz I'm getting hungry!> The Dark Alfred: It's banana time. (The Dark Alfred eats a red mushroom and karate-chops a barrel; a bunch of bananas fall out of it.) Goldenhour36: It's banana time? Really? You couldn't think of a better catchphrase? The Dark Alfred: You should try saying it! Asyulus: Oof... We better get more bananas than Alfred! elcaballero: Operation banana, here we come! (elcaballero karate chops a barrel. He earns one banana.) Asyulus: Wow, this armful of bananas is pretty heavy! elcaballero: Stop rubbing it in. (Meanwhile, DAJK and Rorschach talk.) DAJK: Hey, if I haven't told you, I'm sorry about the Force Majeure incident. Rorschach: It's all right. But don't leave me behind again! DAJK: Okay. (Their friendship grows stronger.) (Meanwhile, Jack Sparrow swings on vines.) Jack Sparrow: I will get the bananas, just you wait! Fancyarcher: Not if I can help it. (Fancyarcher collects bananas. But then...) Goldenhour36: It's banana time! (Goldenhour36 eats two red mushrooms and collects many more bananas than Fancyarcher.) Fancyarcher: SLAM!: Here's the results: SLAM!: Looks like Goldenhour36 wins immunity again. If you didn't win immunity, you'll be in danger at Wednesday's tribal council. Make sure you don't go home! Here's the IMPORTANT INFORMATION DOSSIER (Wario's Warehouse | Tribal Council | Weekend Challenge)
  14. @CayomMagazine Scott Eastwood is in negotiations to star in a Studio Groundswell adaptation of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. The film might replace Haystack County as the Independence weekend IMAX film.
  15. @CayomMagazine In a surprising development, Studio Groundswell is looking to vacate its IMAX slot for The Needles of Haystack County. Groundswell invites other studios to take or trade the date. If Groundswell ends up keeping the date then it will replace Haystack County with another IMAX release. Reasons include creative conflict between the storylines and themes of Pinched and Haystack County, as well as the planned release of Endless Animation's animated western Rust—with these complications, Haystack County is currently sandwiched between two films that it's similar to, which could harm the box office of all three films. Groundswell remains committed to maintaining a cooperative relationship with other studios and believes they will find a creative solution to the predicament. Developing...
  16. @CayomMagazine Who's up for another "I've become inhuman and must be human again" story? Xolo Maridueña (Blue Beetle, Cleopatra in Space) will star in an original animated film for Studio Groundswell titled Pinched, where the timid college-aged Hector goes on a beach trip, gets a sunburn, goes swimming to cool off, finds himself turned into a crab, and goes on an underwater adventure to defend a crab community from predators and discover how to live confidently and freely. Joel Crawford (Puss in Boots: The Last Wish) will direct. The film will be fast-tracked for a Summer Y10 release.

  19. @Asyulus @DAJK @The Dark Alfred @elcaballero @Fancyarcher @Goldenhour36 @Jack Sparrow @Rorschach Donkey Kong: Ook ook! <Are you hungry for bananas? 20. 9/11 NEVER FORGET Studio Groundswell in association with Minnow Mountain Director: Keith Maitland Genre: Documentary Release Date: September 11th, Y10 Theater Count: 2,506 MPAA Rating: PG-13 for Violence, Peril, and Thematic Content Budget: $10 Million Runtime: 1 hr 36 mins Plot Summary In this film commissioned by Studio Groundswell, Tower director Keith Maitland uses rotoscope animation to create a comprehensive portrait of 9/11. The film consists scenes and moments from personal interview accounts of the September 11th attacks on the Twin Towers and World Trade Center. The film also includes archival footage, news reel footage, and other footage of 9/11. We get rotoscoped scenes of the planes crashing into the towers, people escaping the towers, firefighters rushing in, and people being stuck under rubble for long periods of time. The film offers a new way of experiencing 9/11 as it places audiences in the midst of the tragedy, as they experience the first-hand accounts of survivors in a way we've never seen it before. The film discusses what it means to be an American, dodging any political discussion or "leaning left or right" and instead functioning as a time capsule, so that audiences all across America will, truly, never forget 9/11.
  21. Boodeloodeloop: I’ve made a decision. I’m going to attempt to finish and/or post Providence within the “teens” of June before I go on a mission trip for a week. Doing this will get one of my tentpoles out of the way, and it will energize me to post more films going forward. I’m adapting a book so while the effort maintains the inherent monotony of writing, it shouldn’t be *too* difficult. I’m glad to have set a micro-goal for myself and I’m looking forward to completing the goal in due time.
