  1. Turns out I was a bit too optimistic to think that Zootopia would cross $300 million on Thursday. Considering that Monday number, I'll guess at the weekend. Friday: $2.4 million (About a 200% increase from Thursday) Saturday: $4.6 million (92% increase from Friday) Sunday: $3.0 million (35% decrease from Saturday) Total: $10 million
  2. My derby entry: The Jungle Book (2016) 1 $81.00M Barbershop: The Next Cut 1 $17.00M The Boss 2 $13.50M Zootopia 7 $10.50M Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 4 $9.60M Criminal (2016) 1 $4.10M My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 4 $4.10M Miracles from Heaven 5 $2.80M God's Not Dead 2 3 $2.60M Hardcore Henry 2 $2.50M Subject to change.
  3. First you make a typo on your derby entry and then you make a typo for the winning numbers. Get it together, man!
  4. I actually think June and July look kind of lame. Finding Dory isn't going to be the savior people expect. None of the lineup strikes me as enticing, really.
  5. The box office would really be in deep shit if Deadpool and Zootopia didn't outperform, huh?
  6. That was a beautiful way of putting it, actually.
  7. It's very probable, according to many people here. I'm sorry if that disappoints you. And The Jungle Book isn't going to stabilize BvS at all.
  8. Zootopia has long legs everywhere, doesn't it?
  9. The Jungle Book: $75 million Barbershop 3: $16 million Criminal:$4.5 million
  10. You have to consider time zones here. Monday isn't close to over for most of us.
  11. But seriously, do people think I'm leading a Zootopia brigade here? I thought I was alone in weird fixation.
  12. Turns out that its estimate was just about exactly the same as the actual. Box office's twitter account announced it a few hours ago.
  13. @TalismanRing Boxoffice's twitter account seems to have released Zootopia's actual. Or maybe they decided to announce the estimate a day later than everyone else.
  14. I don't think that's fair. The first Despicable Me had something to it. And The Secret Life of Pets might be hiding something.
  15. Zootopia hasn't had a 40% drop yet in its run. Sure, it's facing The Jungle Book, but it's an amazingly resilient run.
  16. I'm guessing that BvS will have bigger weekdays, but Zootopia will have a bigger coming weekend.
  17. Yeah, but the boxoffice twitter account and The Numbers are also not updating.
  18. I think there are things about Despicable Me that can be explored. What about Gru's adopted daughters?
