  1. I thought the giant text at the bottom was the dead give away...
  2. Predictions are due yesterday. It's at the bottom of the post.
  3. Was going to tank them, but honestly, 4-7 is mostly just a blur to me.
  4. Spring Break is going on down here. So we've started Spring Break season, but I don't know how many states/districts are/aren't on spring break.
  5. The Lion King v. Jaws Raiders of the Lost Ark v. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back v. Star Wars: A New Hope The Godfather v. Titanic
  6. That still isn't true. It's just what Internet nerds say in an echo chamber to sound smart. The simple fact is if their were that many failures, you wouldn't see so many adaptations every year. You really think companies will just keep trying to make these things if they kept failing?
  7. There has been plenty of success. Lone wolf and Cub, Ichi the Killer, Lady Snowblood. They get lost under the huge mistakes of Attack on Titan.
  8. Not that I know of. This is such a small field that if there is more, it's still less than five. Edit: Astroboy CG film, if you want to count it. Otherwise I can't think of one.
  9. Like when adapting any type of source material for decades, they all won't succeed. They've botched a lot, and succeeded a lot. It isn't like the industry has a history of failing, otherwise they'd have stopped doing it.
  10. For one. Death Note comes to mind as well. I'm not big into Anime so I couldn't tell you a lot, but there's been successful live action anime adaptations, and successful live action adaptations of manga as well. (And video games) Note, none of these are American made examples.
  11. Just someone I can blame instead of myself if Toons fail.
