  1. I wasted all my likes on the Oscar thread. I need to make a list of people to give likes to. I forgot peach.
  2. Were they? I loved those bits in the movie. Also, does anyone know what Aunty died from?
  3. Well, I'm sure some people like it. I don't. it's far inferior to strawberry, banana, vanilla, and cotton candy. (in my opinion, of course.)
  4. I see no difference between opinion and taste. Preferences are personal opinions. The definition of opinion: the author is confusing opinion and informed opinion. They are two distinctly different things. An informed opinion is based on evidence, and knowledge. and opinion is based on whatever the hell you like. I'm out of likes for you.
  5. One of the major qualifiers of opinion is that it is neither right nor wrong. Liking Chocolate over Vanilla is an opinion. It is judgment about something, facts, logic, reason, don't need to be apart of opinions.
  6. I am talking opinions, like/not like are opinions. I'm trying to say that good/bad aren't really opinions, at least as far as I see it.
  7. You can absolutely like bad films. And I've seen plenty of good movies that I don't like, but I can tell they are well made, good films that just aren't my type of films. I can't call an entire genre of films bad because I don't like them.
  8. I think we can all agree that the Oscar for best Make-up is clearly more important than BP. It is truly something to be treasured and remembered along with all the other winners in this category. It will be remembered along with such classics as Harry and the Hendersons, Dick Tracy, the Nutty Professor, Topsy Turvy, The Wolfman, A Series of Unfortunate Events, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Elizabeth, and Mask.
  9. Should always remember that like =/= good. Should also remember that it is perfectly okay to like bad movies, and to not like good ones.
  10. Moonlighting is far better than La La Land, Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepard have far better chemistry than Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.
  11. Watched this instead of the Oscars. Even after the glorious fuck-up with LLL, I still made the right choice. A+ easily top 5 of 2016, and gonna be top 5 2017 too, most likely.
  12. Any movie that makes me scared with just a continuous shot of a doorknob...
  13. I very much enjoyed the horror version of Guess Who's coming to Dinner. Also the best horror movie is the original The Haunting.
  14. While I wouldn't give LLL a negative...It gets far more praise than it deserves, imo.
  15. He keeps his streak alive with Get Out. Though looking at his ratings, he did give both Hidden Figures and Fences positive ratings.
  16. Armond White is back on RT, you can see his reviews for very recent movies on there.
