Amagad TMNT II 1.4M to 2M...I knew It's gonna bomb but had no idea it will be that bad... I hope Megan Fox's "movie career" will end with this flop.

The amount of denial... It's not a CA-3 movie no matter how many times you'll repeat it, CA alone wouldn't break 1B WW ever The hype was about all the characters, and mainly Spiderkid and Black Panther introduction. Deadpool was a huge success, BvS deff underpeformed. No majot SH movie flopped this year (till now), but 2016 will be remembered as a year that had high expectations which met with no breath-taking BO numbers in the botton line (exp. Deadpool which was something outstanding)

CA, Iron Man, Spiderkid, 80% of the Avengers, Black Panther, 90% RT - all in one movie, 45M above BvS. That's my perspective.

Sorry, but CW Dom is not doing "phenomenally well" Who would've thought this movie will struggle to break 400M Dom?? With all its hype / amazing reviews / cinmescore CW till now made only 45M more than BvS Yes, WW it passed in by 200M, but I doubt it will reach 1.2B while almost everyone were sure it will at least peak at 1.4B.

And around 250M below AoU for those who are rightfully disappointed.

Really lol? With all the massive ooh-ah CW had before release it will finish only around 80M above BvS. I wouldn't laugh if I were u.

Will CW pass BvS? ofc it will Does CW underpeforms? Way over some here are willing to admit I remember a long discussion about how any result under 1.5B WW will be considered as a flop for CW Ofc non will talk about it so their precious movie won't look bad. So instead of using the word "disappointing" they are using "boring". And before ppl here attack me: I'm only playing with your high standards that you set for BvS.

I don't have any problems with CW since I didn't even see this movie, and I loved many Marvel movies so I have zero issues I do have a problem with all of the ppl who set up a high bar for BvS and CW, and when BvS failed to reach that bar it was right away "omg what a flop!" And now that their beloved movie failed to reach the bar they themselves set they take the easy way out and reffer to it as a CA movie so they won't need to admit it failed as well.

BvS is Awsome, and it was for millions of ppl who went to see it and support it. 870M WW is nothing to be ashamed of for a 2nd official DCEU movie.

I'm not in mean spirit, I just like honest ppl For weeks everyone here treated it as A special Avengers movie with mass presence of Spiderman and Black Panther, and now it's all: "Wow! Captain America 3 did so well!"

The amount of denial in this forum is unbelievable. Avengers Movie empowered with Spiderkid no less, but if it's making you feel better then keep telling urself it's a CA movie.

For the 100th time: It's not a Captain America stand alone movie, saying it will gross 75-80% more than WS it true with 95% lie in it.

So half way through into 2016 which many thought would be the best CBM year nothing extraordinary happend BvS will finish around 333M dom and 875-880M, CW around 1.2B I think X-Men is gonna be one of the most least successful in the franchise, and SS might be a huge surprise.

Avengers movie, Captain America alone wouldn't enjoy that kind of success.

Srsly, It's not a Captain America movie If it was it wouldn't open with 180M Everyone knew It's another Avengers movie empowered with Spiderkid and Black Panther and that's the only reason it's opening 85M above the last CA.

So all of the sudden it's a solo Cap movie? All of the hype was about the Avengers face-off, Iron-Man, Black Panther and ofc Spiderman Many here needs to be at least honest with the line they went through all these weeks Captain America is the last superhero 90% here (and anywhere else) talked about, and now when it's underperforming its suddenly Captain America 3. 180M is great but It is a fact that this movie is underperforming with all the positive huge factors it had, snap out of the denial.

Now Saturday numbers will be very interesting.

I'm a huge X-Men fan yet the upcoming one is the first ever i'm not hyped for I think It's gonna be one of the least successful of the franchise.

lol @ the over analyzing You can't say "It's a Captain America movie" when it's underperforming, and "Its Avengers movie" when It's overperforming I don't think it has anything to do with the early screenings either Sometimes the simple answer is the real answer: AoU damaged the goods, ppl attached to previews Spidermans hence not rushing to check the new one Most ppl never heard about War Machine / Black Panther etc. and overall fatigue which non can rule out. Either way 180M (or even 170M) OW is huge, ppl just got trapped by their own fantasies (aka BKB)
