  1. Also from the same report the script for the second movie is done with Keaton and Supergirl set to appear again, don’t think that’s happening and I can’t say I’d be too disappointed cause the guy who wrote Aquaman wrote the sequel for this and while I love Aquaman the writing isn’t very good.
  2. It’s been reported at 190 and 220 now so probably somewhere in the middle is a safe bet. There was no reason for this movie to have a budget of anything more. Black adams budget ballooned to like 270m cause of reshoots cause the movie was bad and the rock is an idiot.
  3. To the surprise of no one Ezra won’t be doing any press for the movie but will be at the premier for photo ops Variety is saying the budget is 190m https://variety.com/2023/film/news/the-flash-release-ezra-miller-premiere-secret-ending-sequel-1235632040/
  4. I don’t get the thought process of some people? “Grrrr let’s be so mad that a company is trying to make a movie they spent hundreds of millions of dollars on be as successful as possible”. Such weirdos
  5. Ya I’m not gonna go back and pick out some of the reactions from the early screenings but some of the more negative reactions were from people who didn’t like Ezra, which is their right to feel however they want but it’s just always been a factor in my head for reviews.
  6. I agree, I’m not a person who cares about reviews but this should get between 80-85 pretty easily if it’s the crowd pleaser it apparently is. Now if reviewers comment on Ezra and that hurts reviews well that’s a whole other storey but just on the movie alone I would expect a pretty high score cause they seem confident.
  7. With how confident they seem to be in the movie this “should” be in the 85-90 range though I don’t expect that to happen. I hope they didn’t misplay their hand here with reviews, curious to see how much if any backlash against Ezra there are in reviews.
  8. It’s a tough pill to swallow sometimes being a dceu fan. We haven’t had much to cheer about since 2013 so when you hear constant online chatter about how good a movie is sometimes you let your imagination run a little wild cause we’ve seen so many marvel movies open so big. For me at least, I’ve learned enough over the years to always keep my expectations in check but I do understand people dreaming about a opening weekend that’s really big. It’s also not always easy to follow the tracking thread and understanding the multipliers etc, l know for me I’m not great with that stuff so I’m just happy we have smart people in that thread(and on the forums) who can explain this stuff to us.
  9. We really don’t need to do this whole thing again about who or what has damaged the brand. It’s damaged and will soon be reset for the most part. That’s all that really matters tbh.
  10. Honestly people can try and play this game how they want this movie to flop cause of Ezra and that’s their right but let’s not pretend the majority of you weren’t there opening night watching IW and EG which starred Brolin who is an abuser and has been arrested many times. So whatever, don’t watch the movie but get off your high horse. There’s a bunch of garbage people in Hollywood, what’s new? I only hope everyone has the same energy if they don’t recast Majors.
  11. Actually, not really. We’ve always had rules about constantly positing negative stuff about a specific movie in the same thread. There’s nothing wrong with posting your opinions of course but there’s no need to keep coming back into the same thread regurgitating the same stuff over and over. With that said, people really should just ignore other users. I don’t even have to look to know who’s being negative in marvel and dc threads now a days, it’s always the same people.
